Great cookbook for people that want to learn!
I have discovered some great recipes in this book. Easy as well. You will want a pressure cooker if you are half as busy as I am. Just faster. But slow cooking is the only way to go!

Too much potatoes, rice & corn.
I rarely buy cookbooks these days but I bought this one and I was disappointed. First I dislike when recipes don't have exact serving size. Measuring is important to diabetics. Many of the recipes have potatoes, corn or rice. Foods diabetics tend to avoid. There seems to be a concentration on low-fat ingredients such as low fat cheese, low fat sour cream, etc in the recipes which is fine if you need to watch your weight but not all diabetics have a weight problem. Too much use of canned soup for our taste. Copyright date is 2015 which may make it a bit out of date. Pre cauliflower rice era.

Simple recipes that taste amazing!
These recipes are easy to follow and they are so tasty. I love this book, so simple. If you're trying to change your diet to a healthier one, this makes it a lot easier. A lot of cookbooks for diabetes are over complicated. This one isn't, which I appreciated. Trying to find recipes that work while having the stress of a new diagnosis wasn't easy and this helped.

Great recipes.
I bought this as a gift for my niece who loves using her crock pot. She has made several of the recipes. They are easy and a convenient way for her to cook with her busy lifestyle.

Forget this book! Uninspiring!
Dish after dish with the same things in them. No pictures in a recipe book doesn't help.Waste of money
