I love this book, so simple. If you're trying to change your diet to a healthier one, this makes it a lot easier. A lot of cookbooks for diabetes are over complicated. Easy to read and follow.
Easy to read and not a lot of extra ingredients that you have to look for, love the spiral book, will lay flat while you are reading the instructions. Well worth the money, I kept looking for easy and variety of foods, since just getting started on diabetic food choices.

Great recipes.
I bought this as a gift for my niece who loves using her crock pot. She has made several of the recipes. They are easy and a convenient way for her to cook with her busy lifestyle.

Too much potatoes, rice & corn.
I rarely buy cookbooks these days but I bought this one and I was disappointed. First I dislike when recipes don't have exact serving size. Measuring is important to diabetics. Many of the recipes have potatoes, corn or rice. Foods diabetics tend to avoid. There seems to be a concentration on low-fat ingredients such as low fat cheese, low fat sour cream, etc in the recipes which is fine if you need to watch your weight but not all diabetics have a weight problem. Too much use of canned soup for our taste. Copyright date is 2015 which may make it a bit out of date. Pre cauliflower rice era.

Not a picture book, but a great cookbook!
I love this cookbook! Simple recipies and lots of different options! I read the reviews before purchasing it and realized people were mostly complaining because it doesn't have pictures. I didn't want a picture book, I wanted a recipe book so I am fine with this. People also complained that some recipes are similar to others, but I found the variations to make a big difference, even if they only seem like slight differences. Some people complained that the majority of the recipies are savory or desert recipes, but I'm not sure what else they would expect in a book for slow cooker recipes - you're supposed to be able to throw it on in the morning and let it go all day so you can focus on other things. Granted you can make breakfast in them, it's not most people are using it for. One draw back is that it's not very well organized, but that's due to my personal preferences.

Exactly what I needed
It’s easy to look up recipes online, but it’s easy to get lost and overwhelmed as well. This book is organized and the recipes are simple to follow. Great book!
