Its a decent product, does its job
Its a decent product. Much smaller than how the picture makes it look. It does its work. I wish the connection wire was a bit longer, it too close to my laptop and makes the whole setup look cluttered.

M2 MacBook Air Clamshell Boss With Display Port
My intention is for my new M2 Air to be replacement for my desktop. My goal is to be able to have just one plug handle everything. This meets that goal perfectly. With my setup, this docking station plugs into one of the USB4 ports on the Air via a USB-C MF extension cable. That's the ONLY cable that connects to the MacBook. (I haven't even unwrapped the MagSafe it's so not needed.) It receives power from the wall wart that shipped with the Air via a USB-C MM cable. I Velcroed a powered 7 port USB3 hub to this and plugged it into one of the two USB3 ports leaving an open USB3 port on the docking station. A keyboard and a webcam plug into the two USB2 ports. Speakers go into the audio port. The 1000BaseT Ethernet works. Finally, the monitor plugs into the Display Port socket giving me 2560 × 1440 resolution. (I'm not using either of the HDMI ports at this point since I can AirPlay to the TV.)It all works. To avoid any over-heating I'm only powering the keyboard and webcam from the docking station and relying on a wall wart to power the 7-port USB3 hub. My experience is that it gets only lukewarm even with the top surface covered with Velcro and an hub. Most of the time the Air sits on brackets under my desk. I'm able to pull it out and unplug it, use it as a laptop then close it, plug it back in and slide it back into the brackets when I'm back at my desk. (Note that you may have interruptions to SSH sessions or volumes mounted through wired EtherNet when you undock.)Note that I'm only interested in using one screen at a time so the fact that this doesn't do any fancy multiple screens is not a problem for me.FYI, you do have to open the laptop up a couple of inches to power it on, but once it lights up you can close it, put it out of the way and log on from the desktop monitor and keyboard

Pretty good docking station
I have a fair bit of peripherals on my laptop, and don't like having to change them around all the time. This docking station was able to handle a lot of my problems with that. Now I can free up space with USB ports, my HDMI port for the second monitor that I use, and a few other ports that I didn't want clogged up on my laptop. As an added feature, whenever I want to take my laptop with me somewhere, I don't have to go around and unplug everything. I just unplug the one port that this docking station uses, and I'm free to go! For the most part, this docking station handles everything I do with no issue. The only thing that I have noticed with it is the HDMI port. There have been times when it didn't pick up my second monitor, so I have to unplug it from the docking station, and plug it back in. That usually does the trick. Other than that concern, this docking station works wonderfully.

Nice little USB-C dock!
Just received this little dock this morning. First impression is that it's small, seems well made, and works well! I plugged it into my Dell Inspiron 15 5502 laptop. Nothing immediately happened. I plugged an audio cable into the unit, and Windows immediately detected a new USB audio device. After a brief moment, my speakers were working. I then plugged my monitor into an HDMI slot. Again, instantly Windows detected a new display, and it came to life. I plugged the USB receiver for my mouse and keyboard into the rear slot, and it was quickly recognized and installed.I tested both of the card reader slots and they worked without issue. I tested each USB port on the front with a thumb drive, and they worked.I have not tested the DisplayPort or ethernet jacks because I don't have anything to plug into those at the moment. I plugged my phone into the unit's USB-C jack and it the notifications area of my phone said it was charging over USB, but I noticed the battery percentage dropped a bit instead of climbing, so maybe my phone was confused about that. I did not test this for long.In short, I'm happy with it. I painstakingly selected this unit from the ones available on Amazon because my laptop's only USB-C port is on its left side, and I wanted the USB ports on the unit to face front when in use, with HDMI ports facing rear. The ONLY thing I'd change if I had the choice would be to move the audio jack to the "rear" of the unit (the same side as the HDMI ports) just so the audio cable would be a little more out of the way in it's configuration on my desk.I plan for this to stay on my desk full-time but it's compact enough that it could be thrown into a bag as an easy mobile dongle.Update one week later: On one occasion, when waking the computer from sleep the peripherals attached to this device did not work. I rebooted and all came to life as expected. Waking from sleep can be problematic for lots of computers and peripherals so I didn't blame this unit much. I wouldn't change my opinion of the unit over it.

Just two monitors - maybe three @1080p
Will only run two monitors at the following resolutions. If you have a triple monitor setup, based on my results below- this dock will probably only run at a max of 1920x1080 for all three monitors.1. 3840x1440 @60hz2. 1920x1080 @60hz

Works great
I use it 4 my work laptop i take back and forth. Easy to connect and has plenty of HDMI ports, and enough 2 plug everything u need into it and u only have 2 plug that one thing into the computer. Makes it so easy to plug and unplug with 1 plug in. I think it will work for almost any type of computer because there is so many ports u can use. Reasonably priced and came very quickly. Wish i had bought it a long time ago because it's made life so easy.

Have to plug it back in constantly
I like the number of ports however, I find I have to constantly unplug and re-plug it back it so it’s connecting to the computer again :/

Adaptateur pratique
