I tried using it for gaming. It had such bad ghosting.

I enjoy this monitor to watch YouTube and gaming videos with the intent to game in the future. I did not rate for gaming as it would be dishonest at this time, but for its intended purpose, I am not disappointed. It has nice clarity and clear picture for me but being out of the business of gaming on PC I couldn't be accurate with other comparisons. I would say keep an open mind in your purchase and you won't be disappointed.

I just got my monitor in and optimized it, using it for work and gaming and I must say I am very impressed with this monitor. It's truly 144hz and highly recommend to anyone inquiring about this monitor. I will be buying another soon for another rig! Video speaks for itself! You will need a hdmi connector because it comes with DP cable if you don't have hdmi to DP you may want to have a hdmi cord ready

I saw a few reviews saying not to buy, but I figured I would give it a shot. Once I got it, I liked it so much that I ended up ordering a second one. The stand is nice and sturdy and the picture is nice and crisp. The pop out on the side is a nice touch for holding headsets too!

Worst monitor I've ever owned. Horrible smearing and it just ignores the power setting option and turns itself off if it wants.

While it does provide decent resolution, I have to wonder why Samsung chose to go with 1920x1080 on a 27-inch monitor. It almost seems like this was something that had been overstocked in the warehouse and needed to be cleared out. It's alright, but they could have done more with the real estate. Even looking at the features, there isn't anything new or outstanding - 1ms 144Hz performance is not new, so why bring out another monitor with these specs? It is clean-looking. The minimalist bezel on three sides is nice, but the stand is rather huge. It extends a considerable distance from the front. I needed to move everything an inch closer to the front of my desk to accommodate it. The front feet sit on my mousepad. These forward-facing feet also weren't designed to accommodate any kind of soundbar. They have a forward slant, and because of the wide "V" formation, it takes some McGyvering to have a soundbar sit underneath it and stay there. The pole that it fastens to does provide for some customization. It allows me to lift the monitor portion a number of inches. Altogether, this is a very heavy "thin" monitor. Whether using it for work or gaming, it does strain the eyes after a few hours. Since the resolution is 1080, all text or image corners are slightly pixelated. It's like slipping a magnifying glass in front of a 24-inch monitor. The smoothness starts to disappear. The fast response time is great, for gaming and that's about as much of a load as I want to put on it. The fact that it includes a selection of crosshairs for FPS gaming is a clear indication that this is where it was targeted. It's also ok to watch some YouTube videos but watching movies, however, is painful. Colour reproduction is poor, especially in a bright room. Would I spend this much for a monitor that is aimed at gaming enthusiasts? No. For a little more, I can buy a number of other monitors with better specs and be able to use any one of them for gaming, working or watching movies and not get annoyed. Ultimately, if all your doing is playing Minecraft or older games that simply don't have complex or stunning graphics, this is an ok monitor to choose.

Turn vibrance up on nvidia control panel and monitor looks great. Also for a second monitor its great cause its easy to turn cause of the stand.
