Product wasn't what I though .it ruff cheap plastic not fabric when I was putting hook in the hook it RIP as still not cut out you need to poke it through your self .bough 2 of these today am down £20 dont buy joke ...not fabric not washable would fall apart in a washer ...

I was pleased to review this 'Gricol Shower Curtain Waterproof Mould Mildew Resistant Bathroom Curtain Thick Duty Fabric Washable Stylish and Water Repellent Shower Liner for Bathroom Curtains'.Firstly I must say that I do not think that the shower curtain that I received meets the description on the Amazon product page. The page states - Polyester fabric, thick, weighted hem design, the stitches are neat and durable, machine washable. The curtain I received, states 50% EVA 50% PE (Ethylene-vinyl acetate and Polyethylene) and soapy wash only. There is no weighted hem, it has a very thin feel and as it is a sort of plastic there are no stitches anywhere. Even the 12 holes, where you attach the 12 included plastic hooks, haven't been cut through at all.The top band where you attach the rings, has a backing strip of an opaque thin plastic feeling material, welded to the main curtain. This should aid the strength. The curtain measures 180cm x 180cm. It doesn't drape very well and tends to retain static, making it cling to you. It is definitely waterproof but I can't attest as to whether it is mould resistant yet. The colour is called beige but I would call it more of a dark stone colour. To my mind it is more suitable as a second curtain, on the inside of a pretty main curtain. All in all I am disappointed with this shower curtain and the price of £9.99 is expensive for what it is, in my opinion.

I was extremely disappointed with this shower curtain.Made in China.The product description says it is made of thick material, but it is very thin and not of good quality.Although the packaging suggests otherwise, it does come with 12 colour coordinated plastic hooks for hanging.The major issue with this curtain is that the hanging holes are just punched out, they don’t have metal eyelets for reinforcement. To compound this, some of the holes were not even punched out fully. I had to complete this task and it did result in some holes having slight tears which does not bode well for durability.The shower curtain came folded up in its packaging with a lot of creases in it, which haven’t dropped out after being hung and used for over a week.It is a good width as it runs the full length of the bath.I can’t comment on it being mould and mildew resistant at this early point.Machine washable.Overall, I was not impressed by the quality and finish of this shower curtain, and I feel that the lack of reinforcement to the eyelets will mean that this curtain will not last.I have attached pictures to show it hanging, the creases, and punched-out eyelets. For comparison, there is also a pic of my existing curtains reinforced eyelets.

I ordered this white shower curtain as a replacement for my current one so that I always have one hanging up whilst the other is in the wash. At £9.99 (price at time of review) it is excellent value for money as I have previously had to pay in the region of twice as much for a curtain that is nowhere as good as this one!It arrives in smart packaging that could easily be given as a gift. Inside you receive the curtain and a set of 12 hooks for hanging.The curtain itself measures approximately 180cm x 180cm and is made of a high density polyester fabric that is waterproof. It is surprisingly soft as well as strong and it is clearly high quality despite its low price. It arrives already treated to be mildew proof and because of this the water beads on the material and runs down and is effectively protected against both bacteria and mould. It can be machine washes at up to 30 degrees and simply hung up to dry, which it does very quickly.The provided hooks are made of ABS, are unable to rust and again are of high quality, they are strong enough to easily hold the wet shower curtain and their shape is like a big O with a small slit at one side.the slit makes it easy to attach the curtain but prevents it from slipping off during use which is ideal for angling the curtain efficiently and securely.Overall this is a superb shower curtain that is great quality, comes with enough hooks to hang it securely and smartly and is strong and durable. It is also extremely effective at keeping the water in the shower area and not all around the room!! I am happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a new curtain that is affordable yet still fabulous quality and I have awarded it the full 5 stars as it does everything I need and want from such a product.I hope that this review has been helpful to you in deciding whether this is the right product for you.
