It is very good on our kitchen countertop.
It is very good on our kitchen countertop. Suggest to do some practice on another surface before you go on to your main area. Also do some practice on the corner finishing before applying on main area. It is easy to fix and durable. Keep a hairdryer handy for the corner and any edge area finishing as heating makes it easy to fix on such areas. Read the tips in their website for easy fixing.Avoid placing hot plates on it as the material can withstand only 70 degree temperature.

Wow!! Love this stuff!!
We have a small countertop in our hallway that desperately needed some updating. The black granite was in great condition but just very dark. Marble slabs are expensive (I was quoted $300 without installation) and I wasn’t even sure if that was the look I wanted. This contact paper is a great price, relatively easy to install, and I think it looks great! It allows me to see what real marble might look like, and in the meantime it does a great job covering up the black.Installation: the roll wasn’t quite wide enough to be able to use one piece lengthwise, so I had to cut it into strips. I started with the back left corner and lined it up with the wall and the side, and then worked my way towards the front edge. Since the pieces were pretty small I found it easier to get it about 1/4 of the way pressed onto the countertop and then I just pulled off the rest of the lining and smoothed it out the best I could. It was easy to pull up and adjust as needed.I used a spatula with a soft plastic edge to press the bubbles out as much as possible, but there were still bubbles left. I had read that some users had luck with a hair dryer so I gave that a whirl but it didn’t work very well for me. Maybe I was doing it wrong? Who knows. In any case, what I found worked best for those pesky air bubbles I couldn’t press out was to poke a tiny hole in them with a needle and then press the air out that way. It left only very tiny pinpricks that I don’t think are noticeable at all.I struggled with the rounded corner and still am not happy with how that turned out. But, I have enough left over that I might pull that end piece up and try something else to make it smoother. The end result is fantastic!! I think it looks great. It’s thick and feels like it will hold up well. The slight gloss makes it look like an actual countertop. Husband was shocked when he got home. Highly recommend!!

easy, affordable and high impact
This was my second time applying contact paper to these cabinets. I had Carrara marble design, but it looked too washed out and faded after 3 years of use. I applied this black wood grain and WOW! The kitchen came to life. So pretty with white cabinets. Wood grain is textured and beautiful. Easy to apply and holding up great after 9 months of use. They look brand new

No grey grain
Other “whitewood” papers have a grey grain. This one is purely white. The edges are lifting a bit, but I have yet to try using heat to stick it down.

Great contact paper
The paper looks like real wood. Not too glossy, a light satin finish. Was easy to work with it. Not too thin. Adhesive was forgiving. Watched a couple of videos on furniture wraps before tackling project. Took some patience and used the right tools. Wrapped a melamine dresser purchased from Amazon. Wow! What a difference it made. Would definitely recommend.

Easy install
My basement sink has the original black laminate top but the surface is so worn that it became impossible to clean. I wanted to give it a practical facelift, with aesthetics being less of a concern in thus area. Since I use it for pottery I knew that the shiny granite patterns offered here would probably get scratched in no time from the continuous contact with abrasive clay and glazes. Because of this, I chose the slate pattern for its less shiny finish. It was super easy to install. The vinyl is pretty thick so not prone to creasing easily. Even the backsplash was easy to do. Admittedly, my counter is small with less than 24" on either side of the sink so that makes it much easier than a larger surface might be. I did make sure to seal the edges with a clear silicone caulk to prevent. While the slate pattern isn't going to fool most people, it does the job. My counter is now so easy to clean it's almost a pleasure. Note: if you hate chemical odors there is an obvious vinyl smell during installation but it goes away quickly afterward.
