I cannot stress how bad these drives are!!! (4tb barracuda 2.5")
I bought 4 x 4tb 2.5" barrcuda drives over different periods in aug-nov 2018 (to make sure there was not a faulty batch) and i can honestly say they have been barely used, i use them to backup a few bits here and there!I can also promise you these are destined to fail!!! i am now on my 4th drive failure out of 4! yes thats right a 100% failure rate! I am so furious and disgusted at seagate I will NEVER be buying one again not for personal or for the company i work for. And as a cheery on top Seagate have the audacity to ask that you pay postage when sending the faulty drive to the the Netherlands, they also send you a refurbished drive insteads of a new one which is also detestable.you can see a picture these are my last 2 failures, these happened within a couple of weeks of each other.and not only that this is the second time I have lost my whole raid array because of these pathetically designed drives! I honestly hope someone at seagate reads this and gets a reality check becuase this is a joke!

Horrible seller, beware!
Quick timeline of my nightmarish experience with the seller (Storage Kings):1.- I bought two hard drives from the Amazon Market that were mis-sold. They were advertised as having a two-year warranty and expected (although not specifically mentioned) to be new.2.- After one of the hard drives failed (after only two months) I have reached out to the seller and they have pointed me to the manufacturer's RMA site. That where I found out the hard drives were much older than expected and out of the manufacturer's warranty.3.- When asked for a return address, the seller provided an erroneous return label. Judging from a few reviews, they have done this to other people. However, not knowing any better and being of good faith (read gullible) I have shipped both items using the provided label. * as a note, I have asked your customer support team to provide me with the said labels as I don't have access to it, however, they did not saying all is in hand. Did not ask for which side that is.4.- I have tried to contact the seller numerous times via e-mail and phone. They do not respond.5.- I have reached customer support for at least five times, each time they have said the issue will be resolved and not to worry.6.- At some point, the a-z warranty team replied saying the items were returned to the wrong address. The seller has been doing that to other people, judging by the reviews on the site.7.- Looking at the tracking, the items did indeed bounce, however they were never returned to me. I have raised a complaint with Royal Mail, which is still pending.Strongly advise anyone to stay away.

DO NOT BUY - NO WARRANTY - Drives are not to be resold , Label says so on drive
DO NOT BUY, THERE IS NO WARRANTY WITH SEAGATE ON THESE DRIVES. If this drive fails like mine has, seagate will not replace or honour the warranty. Please see my uploaded picture highlighted inThese hard drives have been removed from a USB housing and resold as Internal drives. On checking the serial number with SEAGATE, confirmed the drive belongs in a USB enclosure.Label on the hard disk states the belowHDD sold as component of OEM Solution and not for resale. The product warranty does not cover HDD if removed from OEM Solution(meaning once this hard disk has been ripped out of the drive caddy, warranty void"

Falsely advertised as an Ultrabook Drive
I believed the description, it, however, is not fit for an Ultrabook (9.5mm thickness or less) this is a 15mm thickness 2.5" HDD, it will fit in some larger desktop replacement laptops, but not in most Ultrabooks. The manufacturer describes the usage as:Best-Fit Applications• Laptops• Mobile storage• External storage systems• All-in-one PCs• Ultra-slim desktop PCs

The hard drive failed just a little over a month ...
The hard drive failed just a little over a month. The drive was only used a couple of times before deciding to fail in a desktop so wasn't thrown around or under heavy use. Have to do a RMA to receive a replacement. Also testing a 2TB version ordered the same time, currently showing problems on SeaTools.Very disappointing, please avoid purchasing!
