It is a nice little kit than as just enough gadgets to get you by in an emergency situation. For hiking or camping it’s small/compact so you barely going to know you’re carrying it. I wouldn’t consider it pro safety gear. But it’s got enough tools to consider it middle grade. So you can teach your youngsters male and female,(or whatever pronoun they go by,)how to use it without it being intimidating. The only thing I would add to it would be a water filtering straw. Parasites suck. So to survive being lost in the wilderness somewhere get found because you were able to get by. Only to find out that you have parasites now?anyway I like the kit and recommend getting one.

I got enough joy just opening this box of tricks that it was worth the price. The box has what it promises and it seems pretty solid but it's not fine-tuned like a Swiss Army knife. For the price and package, I was very impressed. I'm sure it will be super useful.
