My husband realty likes these gloves. He is always burning the hair off of his fingers and he is looking forward to that not happening again.

I had not used these yet, so I set up a specific test. I boiled a pan of water, and held it by the bottom for over 30 seconds. I was very pleasantly surprised. It started feeling warm, but did not burn me. I have OTHER gloves that barely allow me to hold something 10 seconds without feeling burned. So I'm impressed.The material is thick, but not cumbersome. You can feel what you are doing. The silicone pattern, on both sides, means that the gloves can be worn on either hand. The silicone makes it EASY to grab something. It gives you a fantastic grip. Another quality I love about these gloves are that they have a 4" cuff that provides protection part way up the arm. Being clumsy sometimes, I find this quite comforting.I am very pleased that I bought these and look forward to staying burn free for a very long time.I have acquired this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my fair and honest review. The gloves serve their purpose rather well. Great for moving hot pans since we have metal pans and the handles get just as hot as the pot or pan. They are also great for moving the grate in the BBQ.
