So we have a kitten who likes attention through the night... So much so that she scratches the carpets, the doors, the walls, the curtains.. Anything to get us to out of bed. I ordered this spray as a last resort due to lack of sleep and a fraying carpet!Good lord it stinks, its a very strong Citrus smell (I know cats are deterred by this scent) which lasts a few hours. Going to sleep when you have sprayed the entire room with it is not ideal but it really has stopped her from scratching. The smell is so strong now she just sleeps on our bed or in the spare room. The nights I've used this spray she has settled from about 11pm until about 7am. The nights I haven't used it we are up with her about 4 times due to scratching. It is a great product but the smell takes some getting used to. It's quite expensive too considering the amount we have to use. Hopefully a few weeks of this will break her habit but I'd definitely recommend as a last ditch attempt at a good nights sleep!

This product has a really strong smell that will stink out your house. It doesn’t have any ingredients written on the bottle and certainly doesn’t smell natural. I’m a little concerned for my pets safety now

I think it’s a good product however it did not stop my cats completely but my cats are twelve years old.I think if you start using it when you’re cat is a kitten you have a great chance of it working a 100%

We recently bought a huge rustic dining table that the cat has decided to use as her claw sharpening station. We quickly jumped on here and bought this. It's worked really well. A few sprays on each table leg at night and in morning and she hasnt touched it since. It smells pretty strong but it is a deterrent after all. After a few days of spraying it she hasnt tried again, it's been around a month since last spray and it seems to have put her off

My cats are actually attracted to the smell and roll on it! Hasn't stopped them scratching the carpet.
