Xiaomi Mi Band 2, Ollivan Wristband Bracelet With OLED Display Smart Heart Rate Monitor Fitness Tracker Watch Bluetooth 4.0 Pedometer IP67 Waterproof

I looked around for a fitness tracker for a couple months. I liked the idea but wasn't sure I'd really use it so I didn't want to commit to spending upwards of $100 on something that'd sit in a drawer. I saw a review and stress test video on YouTube for the Mi Band 2 and got one for myself this past summer. This thing may be a little light on some of the more smart watch like features but it does the fitness side very well. When compared to my buddy's FitBit Alta mine beats it at 1/3 the cost because the Alta doesn't do heart rate monitoring like this does. The app is a little light on features, but they did just update it (at least on Android, can't speak for iPhone) to include continuous heart rate monitoring. That and I just have it sync with Google Fit and that covers the features that the Xiamoi's app is missing.Fast forward to December and my Father in Law's birthday. He'd remarked how he'd like to get something like this when he saw mine a couple different times. So I shopped around again, wanting to make sure it's still the best deal. It's almost $10 cheaper now and it still is one of the only name brand fitness bands, in this price range, to offer heart rate monitoring. So we got it for him and he loves it as well.At this point I also picked up a metal replacement band for it. Looks really nice this way. Some of my coworkers have actually purchased it themselves just after seeing mine and asking about it.Fantastic deal. Are there are better bands out there? Yes, but not for $42.

Love this product. It arrived so fast, within 7 days I had it. It is everything that I was looking for and more. The app works great. All features that are advertised work great and accurate. Love the heart rate monitor. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fitness band with heart rate monitor. Worth every penny. Update: It has been almost a year. It still works great, through all the workouts, getting wet and all. Also the band is still looking great after all the times I washed it. Pretty impressive considering the cost. Would still recommend this and have recommended to a lot of people that are into fitness. Also swing who is sending text, calling, FB messaging. All those features pact into this little gadget. Wow.

I'll try and organize this review the best I can.Android 6.0 syncing with Google fit and the Xiaomi app.Workout 1 hour every day at 5AM. (Cross train video and Treadmill jog.)The Good.1. Xiaomi updated their algorithm for better/more accurate step detection.2. Battery life. On Day 7 today, I wear it 24/7 and it's on 50%3. Price. Pretty competitive price with what is out there.4. Water tight. I've showered with it, washed dishes, brewed beer (clean up) all is good! Not one issue.5. Display is just fine, I can read the time in all lighting conditions with ease.6. Comfort. No issues there, compared to some of the other options, this is fairly unobtrusive and you can wear it on the right or the left arm.The not so good, but maybe not a deal breaker.1. If you pull hard enough or have your wrist in a tight spot where this band would encounter resistance, it might slip off.2. If it comes off and you need to locate it with the app, good luck with that. lol It vibrates the watch, but not enough to where you can find it easily. There is no audible beep available which I think they should have thought about adding that.3. If you change devices you must unpair it from the phone it's sync'd with before you can add it another phone. Don't know if there is another way around this, contacted support and they told me the band is not supported in the US yet. Luckily, I still had my old phone set up. So if you lose your phone, I am not aware of any way to reset this watch. If someone else knows, please speak up.I average about about 20-40 miles per week walking and or running so I use this. If you push a cart with your hands on the handle all day long, it won't register your steps.All in all, I am very happy with my purchase, it does what I need it to do and that's record my steps and I don't have to have my phone with me.

I just received this last night and charged it to start wearing today so I will update after some use later but wanted to write a quick review about the set up. I had read many reviews of the xiaomi mi band 2 that complained about the instructions being all in another language and having to google instructions. I decided to buy from Edward Technology because I read a review that they had included instructions in English. I am so glad I did!! The set up process was so simple and painless. There is a little flyer with instructions in English and PHOTOS included with the tracker and I followed them to download app set up account and was synced and ready to go. It was great I also want to add that I also bought the Ollivan Metal replacement strap in rose gold for the tracker and it is gorgeous and looks like a beautiful stylish watch with the tracker put in it. Would definitely recommend that as well. I will update on how tracker does after use but for now I would recommend if you are going to buy this tracker buy it from this seller for painless easy no fuss set up process.
