The media could not be loaded. My husband rode the struggle bus a bit when he was trying to install. He had to call for reinforcements (me) almost immediately. He could not figure out the placement of the side rails. I remember he had the same issue when we installed the Bestop for his 2012 Jeep JK. For some reason, I was able to put the rails right into place and get the rails attached to the rollbars.. We followed along with a youtube video, but we didn’t have Z clips, instead we had these little “washer rings” where you had to insert a screw receiver on one side of the hole (where the video shows you insert the z clip) and then place the ring over top and screw a tiny flat head screw attaching the washer ring to the hole. Its placement is tough because the ridge of the top gets in the way of turning the panhead screw.Once that was attached, we moved on to adding the sunrider top. You really need to make sure the entire side rail is on the OUTside of the top mechanism or else you will struggle (and I mean struggle) with getting the screws into the rails, attaching the sunrider to the side. I have two pictures attached that show what it will look like if the side rails are not fully on the outside of the top. Then another to show what it should look like. Once I fixed the side rail positioning the top install went fairly smooth and quick.All in all this one was a slight install upgrade from the previous Bestop we installed and I’m glad that I ordered this upgrade to the hard panels for his new Jeep.*Happy Jeep’in**EDIT** We ended up removing this diamond top because the noise was awful (listen to the noise in the video). We replaced it with the twill material BesTop sunrider. The noise is still somewhat present but no where near as awful (check out my review of the twill top, there’s a video for a noise comparison).

When I received it I took it to my garage to install it on my gladiator. Once on the corners would not seat and it looked bad after contacting the seller with photos they gave me the run around I said screw them and ended up having to glue it where their glue tape was not sticking the product was poorly made and the customer assistance was none existent this company sucks do not spend $800 with them find one else where or do without buyer beware

This was fairly easy to install however the version I received wasnt put together the same way the installation video and instructions showed. The wire cable you have to pull tight snapped within a week of this being on my Jeep. Now I have to take the whole thing off again so that water doesn’t get in the Jeep while I wait for a resolution from the seller. Not happy as this was $$$ and shouldn’t have broken so easily.

I'm giving this top 3-stars even though I absolutely love it. Easy to install except for the two pins (1ea) on each each. What a pain that was. The fabric ripped while I was installing. Other than that, it went on relatively easy and functions very well. Easy to unlatch and open for travel. Also easy to close. All with one hand operation from inside the Jeep. Nuff said!

This top was a little tricky to get the Z clip in the right position but after I got it it was easy with two people to pick up and bolt it down to the top. Fits perfectly and easily opens and closes!
