Not true. It does not correctly fit.
Had to cut the lowest end to make fit this "perfect fit product" off the end. Then added a lower bolt. Phoned the manufacturer and apparently its a "multi-use" protector. Not happy. 2008 Merc 90.

It fit my motor fine could use a little filler so water does not get inside it

Works well but didn’t fit great
It works well on my bayliner 225br with a 5.0 alpha 1, gen2- I’ve already dragged it through the sand a couple of times and it saved my paint. My complaint would be that it wasn’t a perfect fit, you either hang over on the front or hang over on the back- I picked the back because it seemed like less drag. I also broke of the screw off the head during the install - the screw seemed cheaply made but the product itself was good.
