For the price this is a good product. The shipping on the other hand was horrible. The box has footprints on it and one end was busted open. Half of the screws were missing, likely because of the broken box. The product would be significantly better if the pivot points were metal, not plastic. The mounting system (plastic pivot base) shifts forward and backward and will only mount to gunwales that are flat. If your gunwales are angled (normally in custom boats) you will need to purchase swiveling mounts or add a shim. The frame is also somewhat difficult to take apart for storage in more than one piece.
