Great taste
I was born and raised in Tanzania and moved to the United States in 1989. This was the 1st time in all those years I was able to find mabuyu. Tasting these took me back to my childhood. It could use a bit more chili pepper but it taste great.

Does not taste as I remember it
I've had this last over 20 years ago and the taste is different from what I remember but not horrible. It's more sweet and vanilla-ish than savory as I rememeber. It is VERY expensive for such a small amount. Will not buy again.

Very expensive for quantity
Really tasty. Brings back so much memories from back home, I just wish the price was reasonable. Would have been a consistent customer if it were not for the unreasonably high price. It was $9.99 when I first purchase and they upped the price $5 more which is insane!

Small quantity and not sweet
Good but quantity in relation to price is not worth it. The chili is great but they are not sweet. Loved mabuyu when growing up and purchased because my nieces have allergies to red artificial colors but they are not the same.
