worth it! 3200xl is a good size for one!
I cook for one in batches of two or three, as I have limited freezer space. (I don't bake often, though, so please keep that in mind!) When I'm short on time and energy, I'm limited in what I can prepare and there's some stuff I just can't be bothered with if I have to prepare by hand. I did a lot of research on different food processors and I decided I'd rather make a good investment than get something that I'd eventually outgrow, or would itself be an added pain to the cooking process.I have a small (but not tiny) kitchen and this sits fine and compact on the countertop all the time. It works perfectly and is a pleasure to use as it's powerful and quick. It's easy and reassuring to see when the locking mechanism is in place as you can look at the spring on the handle. The instructions are clear, though it wasn't immediately apparent that they were in the hardback recipe book. I love the different attachments (that was one of the reasons I selected this processor over others); they do take up some cupboard space but it's worth it to not have to grate/slice cheese or vegetables by hand. It's also not especially loud for a food processor. The parts are easy to put together and wash by hand, and as we have no dishwasher that's no problem either. I usually have to clean the motor with a damp cloth after use as I find it easy to spill food debris, but that may just be my clumsiness + usage in a small space with limited counter real estate.Overall a very good lifetime investment. I'm glad I shelled out.

Brilliant all round solid machine. Superb Kitchen Aid
I love my Magimix as it does everything I need it to do. Mix cakes and soups, chop and grate vegetables, mix pastry. It pulses salmon and fish to make fishcakes. It can make pate too but not yet tried.A perfect machine that is easy to clean. Highly recommended. The only downside is that I have to return my juice press that came with it as one of the small inbuilt screws at side was broken and the handle does not stay on. Otherwise PERFECT.

Top quality product
I have had a magimix blender for some time and that was enough to know that this would be as good in quality as well and I was not disappointed when it arrived. Also bought the same colour so that they match.

Game Changer
Expensive compared to other makes, but absolutely worth it.I have just replaced my Ninja BN800UK (which is ‘ok’ but I wasn’t 100% satisfied) with this Magimix. Amazon offered a good price -and I am SO glad I bought it! It arrived today - and all I’ve done so far is slice potatoes. The slices are thinner than the Ninja could do (main reason for purchase 😂). Amazingly quick! No useless bits left over. AND - sliced whole (large) potatoes! Decent sized slices at last. Now looking forward to preparing salads, and blending milkshakes.Who knows, I may even try a cake recipe from the excellent recipe book included in the box.Very happy.

Size??
Don’t be misled that the size of the 3200XL is sufficient for 1-4 persons. I found out that the food processor was too small for neading dough for 500gr flour and 320ml water. Consequently I changed the 3200XL for the bigger 4200XL.

It is quality, but at a price
I've had three processors before this and so when you tot up the expense the price may be acceptable. I have to add that the predecessors were like toys compared toa well designed, grown up and practical Magimix processor.I did have concerns that the container for the parts would take up too much space in my cramped kitchen but I have made space. It is also a little chaotic when cleaning the three bowls as its not easy to drain them (no dishwasher) so I tend to dry them straight away. The only criticism I have, so far, is that whisking egg whites takes ages and isn't as effective as a hand-held electric whisk. But generally I am super-happy with the product.

Pretty impressive
We went from a KitchenAid Artisan to this Magimix. The KitchenAid had become too heavy for us and the Magimix is much more manageable. It's doing everything I'm asking of it, and has enough weight to be stable with slicing a bowl full of potatoes etc. The mashed potato attachment, bought separately, is excellent too. Very happy with it. It's easy for cleaning but a solid job.

Too complicated by far
It may seem a clever thing to store everything inside the main bowl, but it's idiotic in practise.
