New quilter here....
I'm fairly new to quilting, and I'm sure as I gain more experience I will find other batting I like. That being said, I simply love this product. It's easy to work with and for someone who is a beginner to quilting the thickness it perfect. As for price, I can live with it, it's five yards and I can get my moneys worth of baby quilts for my grandson. Highly recommend.

Great price, great batting
This is really nice batting. Perfect for a warm cotton quilt. The loft is about 3/16". It sews smoothly and you can go as much as 10" between quilting, so it's great for appliques, or QAYG. It says pre soaking and machine drying for shrinkage is not necessary. So I didn't do it and when I washed the quilt it really wasn't all that noticeable. They say 3% of shrinkage. I would recommend this batting works well, and it's a good price.

If you iron it on one of the sides of the batting it melts. I have used a lot of batting for quilts and never have had 100% cotton batting melt.

My go to quilt and craft batting
Repeat number ? of an order for this product. Can't remember just how many I have used. Very easy to quilt with. And the kraft paper used in the wrap around label... I reuse it for making paper patterns for craft projects. And with being 100% cotton, I don't have to worry about making items that will be used in microwave (ie. bowl holders or tortilla warmers)

Good for light colored quilts
Good for light colored quilts but batting pulls through on machine quilting with dark colors.
