Exceeded My Expectations
I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the 5 gallon buckets sold at my local home improvement retailers at $3.99 each. I took a chance on this product, not quite understanding or visualizing how these Grow Bags were going to hold 7 gallons of potting soil for my tomato plants. I was pleasantly surprised when I unfolded the Grow Bags and filled them with the potting soil. The bags stand right up as the filling provides ample pressure to maintain a bucket like shape. I am 6 foot three inches tall, and my tomato plants are taller than I am. I found that purchasing a 50 foot roll of cheap garden fencing was more economical and functioned better than tomato cages. Simply cut the fence at approximately 20 to 22 squares and then it will circle around the Grow Bag and you can interlock it to form a tight cage. If you want a larger diameter cage then just cut at a higher number of squares. This product "Grow Bags"exceeded my expectations!

Awesome!
My cannabis plants have never been happier. You virtually cannot over water with these things.

I Would buy this product again!
Exactly as advertised. I planted my entire garden in 40 bags ranging from 7 to 15 gallons. Plants grow well in these bags. I have moved full 15 gallon bags with no problems or damage to the handles or bags. I believe they will weather our winter well (Winnipeg, Canada) and I will use them again next year. A very good product in my opinion.

Value for money- if bought at right price
As you know, the price of almost everything keeps on changing on Amazon, if you bought this product at right price, it is definitely a value for money.I bought 10 X 7 gallon bags for $36.99 (no import fees). At the time of writing this review, price of this product is $59.58. Anything less than $40 is a good price in my opinion. Why I like grow bags-1) It is a versatile choice. You can move it around using handles without fear of braking anything and it is not very heavy.2) It is a great choice for potatoes because you do not have to dig. Just empty the bags and get your potatoes. Reuse the soil next year.3) Air circulation is great in these bags4) You can never accidentally overwater in these bags5) Compared to garden beds, it is easier to quarantine and treat insect/disease affected plants6) It is a cheaper option and you can use it multiple timesWhat I don't like-1) Good air circulation is the reason why a grow bag would struggle with under watering. if you are in an area with long and hot summers, watch out!2) I am not sure what kind of chemicals are used to dye these bags black. Also, I am not sure if the material used in these bags do not have harmful chemicals that might leech into the soil and ultimately end up in food I grow. The product page shows that bags are BPA and AZO free. However, tests are from a Chinese lab. I would prefer bags to be tested in a North American trustworthy lab.In nutshell, it is a good option. if I have space and money to build a raised garden bed, I would go with it due to potential health issue the chemical may bring. I have large raised bed area and it is my primary vegetable garden. I use limited quantity of the bags for my patio, to have easier access.

The jury is still out
I’ve had these for almost a month now and planted various vegetable plants in them with marigolds around the plants for natural insect repellant.Although I have not had any plant deaths, I have noticed that I have not had the “explosive growth” that some other reviewers have experienced. In fact, I have seen very minimal growth (even with the marigolds that are by far the easiest plants to grow).I planted well established pepper plants and the plants’ lower leaves became wilted and twisted which I have never ever experienced before with any plant in the decades of my gardening. The same happened to cucumbers. Still have not been able to determine what the cause is.Do I dislike the bags? No, they are dead easy to move around. Will I use them again? No- I will go bag to using nursery pots for vegetables next season and maybe use these bags as leave collectors for the compost pile.I’m so glad I did not plant my 3 year old fig trees in these!
