Worked for my application
I’m living in an old house I’m renovating and wanted my new interior door facings to match the original ones. I could not find anything new that would accomplish that and ended up having some trim custom made. That was expensive, but worked flawlessly. Later in the game I added another door frame and, to save money, decided to try this flexible trim since the shape and size was very similar - even though my application was in a straight line and didn’t need to be flexible.Cutting the trim was easy enough with a carpet knife or my pocket knife. It’s like hard rubber. Construction adhesive (Liquid Nails) was not sufficient to hold the trim in place vertically by itself while hardening so I ended up also using trim nails. It was a little difficult to drive the nails straight in without causing the trim to flex too much, causing a small ripple at the nail site, but with a little extra caution I was able to attach it without telltale distortion. Once mounted, chalk and/or spackling plus paint was all I needed to finish it out. I’d recommend this product and would purchase it again for similar projects.

Quirky but Good
I have never used flexible molding like this before. and I am using it in a non-standard way (as a toe mold for some floor-standing speakers). Painting after installation, as the manufacture recommends, was not an option for me but I recommend it if you will use this to wrap around a wooden column or some other more traditional use. Be advised that painting makes the molding significantly less flexible. If you must paint before installation, lay the molding some blue masking tape and press it down to reduce the amount of paint seeping around the gluing edge (the flat side). I used oil based semi gloss paint and it took about 24 hrs to dry. If you must sand before painting use very fine (240 or finer) paper and a light touch, it is easy to gouge this molding. The QA for this molding is not the greatest. The third shipment I received had some dirt on one end (stepped on with a boot) and a few wrinkly spots at the other. The "boot print" end also had part of a staple and a label so I had to carefully cut those off, fortunately only losing about 1/8th inch. The entire length of molding had inconsistent spots along the edges, like the die used to extrude it is getting worn out.
