Momentary Switch with independent LED
This switch works perfectly for a project to create a garage door switch with an indicator that the door was open. The switch and LED are independent. Some documentation things to note. The LED is rated for 12V AC/DC on the package. The instructions note DC. 12V is bright so I run it with 6.5VDC. The instructions have various wiring options but all have the switch wired in with the LED. Regardless, the LED and switch are independent. The LED does have a built in resistor (that’s why the 12v rating).Light looks good when lit. Switch is smooth momentary contact. Noiseless or almost noiseless. There’s a connector that comes with and plugs into the switch that makes wiring convenient and, I suppose, eases future wall plate removal (like to service the other switches in my application). Good quality.

Nice switch! Better than I was expecting.
I just got this, so cannot say anything about how long it will last. Also, I ordered this one with the main criteria of it getting delivered the next day. But I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it is. It looks well made, with a nice finish on all the exposed parts. The button is flush with the housing normally, you need to use a fingertip to push it well inside before it actuates. Very minimal chance of doing it by accident. The force needed is pretty light, so its not an issue to keep the button pressed for a while. (I will need to hold it down for about a minute in my use, but I HAD to have a momentary switch so there is no way to turn it on and get distracted). There is a nice tactile click when the switch activates. The light ring is pretty nice. I am only running it on 8V, so its not as bright as it would be at the rated 12V. I have not yet tried it outside. It may not be that visible in bright sunlight. However, I do not really care for the way I will be using it.Summary, I really like this. Nicer than I was expecting. Price is reasonable too.

Works but odd
The item functions well the light kinda glows but isn't too bright or too dull. Only issue with the button is the confusing instructions, after some fooling around I finally got it wired into my digital tally counter how i wanted. It's wired so that when the butten is pressed the ligh cuts off and a signal is sent to the tally counter and released signal is cut and light turns back on.

Worked for what I needed it to do. Great price. Fast shipping.
Working on my son's old 1960's Mercedes. Doing a gas to diesel engine and fuel system swap. The diesel engine injector pump fuel shut off valve operates with vacuum. We used this switch to activate a vacuum valve to send vacuum to the fuel shut off valve on the injector pump. The price was great. Shipping was fast. The switch is heavy duty. The switch is also led lit and we wired it so that it is lit up when the car is running. We ordered the red led lit switch to indicate that that is the switch to shut off the engine.

Used As A Power Button On A Computer Case
It works well as a replacement for the switch in my older but still nice computer case... the power switch was OK, but the actuator button broke. The hole happened to be exactly ¾", so it fit without mod. The lights match perfectly, but for it to fit I had to solder the wires rather than use the included connector. Don't forget the heat-shrink tubing, and I cut off the NC terminal. It was hitting the metal shell of the case and since the connector on the motherboard isn't polarized, I just happened to have it so the common terminal on the switch was high and the NO terminal ground. When I closed the front panel, the NC terminal was contacting the metal of the frame and it was like the button was stuck. The LED terminal is meant for 12V, but they must be using an active current limiter or something. I was worried that it wouldn't work with the 5V power LED terminal, but there is not too much difference between 5 and 12V. It's a really nice, soft blue glow that compares nicely to the HD Activity light. If you really want 12V, tap into a fan connector, but I didn't find it necessary. The switch itself has a nice snap to it, enough tactile feedback to tell when it actuates, and when I was testing the LED on my bench at work, I checked the contact resistance and it was within the noise floor on my bench.Highly recommended for this particular application.

Quality construction, solidly built, The LED “ring” light is nice and bright!
Awesome push button! Very professional looking! I ordered the “blue “ version just to check out the quality.. WOW! I’m blown away by how well made this switch is! The products coming from China these days are world class! A good 90% of what is being made now is top quality stuff.. still some garbage products being made ( I have some junk tools from a well known “discount” store that are total garbage) I just ordered 25 more of these push button switches, in other LED colors, for a custom control panel i’m building out at a friends house. The control panel will house all the contactors, relays, and other equipment to operate the shop lights, air compressors, etc.. once I get the panel done, I’ll submit photos!

It is a quality item.
It is well-designed with good quality. It is pricy for its class. The light inside might not be an LED, by reversing the applied power it still lights up (LED is polarity dependant). In some cases, it matters whether it is an LED or a bulb.UPDATES: It is an LED. Two LEDs in reverse/parallel directions so it turns on with any polarity (apparently with both DC & AC). As an electronic technologist, I rely on datasheets. If you are familiar with basic electronics, I would suggest putting a resistor (experiment with 150 to 330 ohms/ 1/2 watt) in series with the LED. direct 12v voltage put stress on LED (any LED) and might shorten its life, I haven't used it long enough to talk with certainty.I like it and recommend it as a good quality product.
