Great product!!!
We used this ID bracelet for my 6 year old goddaughter while we were on a sea cruise. It was comfortable to wear for her and she loved the color. It worked like a charm and fit well. Not only did it give us as adults peace of mind, it made her feel confident that if we did somehow get accidentally separated we could easily be contacted on or off the ship. Due to us being able to write out our own information on the information card provided, we were able to individualize it for the trip and wrote our cabin number as well as our cell phone numbers on the card and slip it in place.I would definitely recommend this product to other people who need back-up identification in case of an emergency situation where the child/adult would have difficulty providing information to those trying to render aid.

Looks nice, but too easy for a toddler to remove.
Well, I got this as a cheaper alternative to the Road ID or similar. I like the look of it. Not sure a cop or Good Samaritan would know to open it up and look for the little slip of paper w our info on it- even if it says that the ID is inside. Our 3.5 yr old daughter immediately tore it off and took out the paper...... so I guess it won’t really work for our family.Tried it on her ankle to solve that issue and the Velcro bit into her. Can’t return because we wrote on it, I’m assuming.

Awesome bracelet!!
I ordered two of these bracelets - 1 for my 4 year old, and another for my 6 year old. A prior review mentioned she thought the sizing was a little inaccurate - I agree. The "Ages 3-9" may not fit my 6 year old next summer. It's fine for this summer, though, and fits my four year old easily. My children wear them whenever we go somewhere like the zoo or somewhere public, as well as to summer sports camps, as a back-up to the emergency contact cards. I'm actually considering ordering one for myself when I go walking/biking long distances. Thank you for a great product!!!

The package and the bracelet smell of some kind of cheap perfume. Was not expecting that. My daughter, said it was a bit scratchy, but the smell is what did it for me. Sending it back. If it going to be perfumed, it should say so!

Was great... see update
I almost got the bigger "youth" size after reading some of the other reviews and I'm glad I didn't! This one fits my six year old fine with plenty of room to grow! I believe she has a six inch wrist. At first she did complain that it was itchy but once I adjusted the Velcro so that the scratchy side wasn't directly on her skin, it was fine. Now I just have to be sure the Velcro is lined up just right when I put it on her. That's no problem, though. It is definitely not completely water proof, but if she splashed a little water on it, that's ok. I like that it has a little pocket to put her information in. It is a little bulky on her little wrist, but not much. Overall I am really happy with it and my daughter likes that it is purple and has a flower on it. I recommend this for any young child that needs a medical alert bracelet.UPDATE more than a year later....So, my daughter now says this is too uncomfortable to wear and hasn't worn it for a few months. Normally I would insist that she wear it for her own safety, but I don't want her to be uncomfortable. I thought it would soften over time and get easier to wear, but it didn't. It does have some aspects that I like still, but it is useless if it is too stiff and itchy to wear!

Child ID bracelet
It is a great idea, but it just isn't going to stand up well with everyday use. First off the info cards they send with the bracelet are NOT waterproof or water resistant. The logo on the card wiped off immediately. So I cut small strips of white plastic(same size as the card inserts) and wrote on them with a sharpie. My daughter likes wearing it, but it does take some getting use to. Overall it is ok, but needs some improvement.

A feeling of safety
I purchased these bracelets because I take my children on a lot of day trips. My son (2) has apraxia, and cannot say his name, while my daughter (4) may be too nervous to say her's to the "stranger" trying to help her find me. While I've never needed them yet (and hope I never will), I take a lot of comfort knowing that if my children get lost, the person who finds them has a way to contact me.My children believe they can only wear these bracelets to 'special' places, and are proud to keep them on because of it. I was very worried that my son (sensory issues) would be bothered by the feeling, but he has no problems. Inside, there is a slip of waterproof paper where you write your contact info. I used a waterproof marker, and had no problems in the waterpark. I would definitely recommend these bracelets to any nervous parent.

Highly recommend for non verbal kids
Love this!!! Bought this for my daughter who is nonverbal and non-ambulatory. She is 8 yrs old. She wears it all the time and never complains about it or tries to pull it off. It is soft and not at all scratchy. It has plenty of room on the inside to write lots of information including meds, allergies and phone numbers. I feel good knowing she is wearing this if ever something happened.
