Worked Great
Due to a family member's intolerance I bake/cook gluten free. I wanted to try Mama Kelce's Chocolate Chip cookie recipe. It is hard to find GF bread, cake and pastry flour. This product worked perfectly. Will buy again.

Jaw dropped
Incredible. I have been a devoted king Arthur fan for years, but this new brand on the scene has changed my baking entirely. I make gf bread now and it reminds me of the bread I had as a kid when I still had gluten. Its soft and has great texture, great crumb. Doesn't taste like xanthum gum or anything else bitter or off like you get with a lot of gf flour blends. And you don't get it too dry. It's expensive though and I would Love the option to buy it cheaper in more bulk. Right now I'm still using king Arthur for my basics because I need a more affordable all purpose. But I would be thrilled to switch over if it became a more affordable option.

it's not made with beans
A family member is gluten sensitive so I bake for them using this flour as it is for pastries. Other GF flours are made with beans and that leaves a weird taste afterwards. For GF it is a really nice flour to work with.

I would give Manhattan Blend 10 stars if I could...
Amazing! I do A LOT of my own baking because many of the premade GF baked goods just aren't, well, good. I started experimenting 14 years ago, and have used Bob's GF mixes, Pamela's, King Arthur's, Better Better, and Cup4Cup. I have learned that each one is ok for one thing or another, but none of them wowed me. I had better luck mixing my own blends, but that requires a ton of different flours, gums, and time. Finding this mix fills a void in my life...bagels. The closest I had come to an acceptable bagel was a recipe by Bette Hagman, but this Orly blend by far surpasses that, AND it's an easier recipe. A little pricey, I got 13 bagels out of the small bag with about a cup of flour left over, but wow are they fantastic! The gluten eaters in my house had to be chased off. I will keep this blend in my arsenal and I can't wait to try other recipes!

Great product
While I do not need to eat gluten free my best friend does and this purchase was a life savor. I've used each one of the Blends by Orly and they are wonderful. They are an exact 1:1 switch for traditional flours. It is important that you select the correct blend to go along with what you are baking. Just as in traditional cooking there is a difference between all purpose flour and cake flour. These are a smart buy.

Well Made Blend By a Clear Expert
I have been gluten free for 10 years and teach gluten free cooking classes at a chain similar to Whole Foods. In all of my time being gluten free this is one of the best blends for breads that I have come across in terms of the texture. The texture is just like it should be and makes a product that is very bread like. It is very important to note that each of these flours are for different types of baking. If you try to use this for pancakes it won't work very well. The only thing I didn't care for about it is that sorghum and millet have a strong flavor to them that takes some getting used to. People that are new to these flours, may find the flavor of these distinct flours a bit strong. I tend to use brown rice in general to avoid the stronger flavors. However, for breads millet is incredibly helpful to get the texture right. I would say that it is a great blend, clearly by someone who knows what they are doing. I would definitely recommend it to someone who is looking for a great blend to use for baking bread type baked goods. You will be pleasantly surprised with how the texture is similar to wheat baked goods. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review.
