I purchased this from Amazon and seller was Better World Pets LLC - the company that makes the bed. The bed is fabulous. GREAT quality and so far has not gotten "flat" and we are very pleased. I have older dog with arthritis and ACL injury and this bed has been better for him that any we have used. It also fits in crate nicely. I hope they are back in stock soon from this seller and I will be buying another one! I also wrote the company to ask a question and they replied right away from their website. Great company and best bed we have EVER bought!!UPDATE: I just took the cover off this bed to wash it.. I did not realize that it is soft vinyl on the back side of the velour top... that is AWESOME! The bed had gotten wet and nothing leaked through to the pad!! I already loved this bed and know it is the best we have EVER bought but this was a welcome surprise. It is also easy to get pad in and out of.. the end and side unzip.. at times it is hard to get pads back in (or out) and it can break the zipper. The longer we have this the better I like it.. we have had this one for several months and it still holds it's shape and works great. I also had some questions wrote the company and they got back to me within hours.. very pleased and hope they have these back in stock soon! GREAT product! I seldom ever do a review of anything and I buy a lot from Amazon but had to pass along this info.

I love this dog bed so much. I’ve had an XL one for an aging lab for years and now that he has passed it is too big for my 25lb and 14lb senior dogs. Just to be different I purchased another brand bed and immediately returned it. Ended up coming back and buying the exact same bed I had before just size Medium. Both my dogs lay on the Med together comfortably. I don’t think anything on the market beats the quality of this bed. Thick, supportive, non slip bottom and removable washable cover. The fabric on the bed portion is soft and easy to wipe clean, but not fluffy or fuzzy so if you want that type of fabric just use a blanket on top. This is definitely the best orthopedic dog bed on the market if your pup is aging or suffers from arthritis.

This bed is AMAZING if you have an older dog with "bone" problems. Our dog, Otis, who will be 13 in December (a 100 pound black lab) is still a happy boy who loves his food and still loves playing with his toys. However, the poor thing has major back, neck and leg problems and can not function the way he used to. The old bed he had was soft and would slide all over the floor when he tried to get up and it was getting to the point that he could NOT get up anymore and we would have to help him. This new bed is fantastic for him! It's a firm bed, which seems to be helping with his problems and it stays in place. We have not had to help him get up once since we got it. The second we put it down he got down on it and we could tell he was so in love with it. Whenever we can't find him, there he is sleeping in his favorite new bed. Also, unlike other reviews, our bed had no smell and does not make any kind of "crinkle" noise. I highly suggest this bed if you have an older dog with orthopedic problems.

My German Shepherd boy started to come to work with me 2 weeks ago. We have to drive 30 minutes each way to work 6 days a week.I was looking a safe and comfortable bed for him to stay at the back of the car and I found it.He lays down or watches outside during each trip and he doesn't move at all.He used to come to ride in front with me before he got his bed,now he is in his bed.It is very good quality and comfortable as well.I highly recommend this bed to anyone.

I chose this brand because it is the 2nd highest rated orthopedic dog bed (Google search). The top-rated is 7" of foam and triple the price. I bought this bed in size Medium for a 13-year old Great Pyrenees/Lab Mix. She is 55 lbs and about 22" at her shoulders. She has slept in, and loved, her crate for her entire life. However, with her advanced age and arthritis from two torn ACLs, she literally decided she's done with crate sleeping. She has decided, instead, that the couch is more comfortable and has slept there for almost two weeks now. I got the Medium, rather than the Large, because (a) she tends to sleep curled up, (b) it fits in her crate (should she decide to return there), and (c) it is a good size to take to the kennel for boarding. If she wants a soft place to sleep there, her current quilted blanket on the concrete floor just won't cut it anymore.I paid extra for overnight shipping, which didn't happen due to whatever warehouse it was supposed to come from not having the stock. That was not the seller's fault, and Amazon made it right, so no lingering complaints on that front. It was delivered on the day it would have been expected without expedited shipping (ordered Thursday, arrived Monday). I was surprised at how small the packaging box was. The bed is shrink-wrapped, so don't let that scare you. It starts to "fluff" right away, but takes from several hours to a full day to fully "inflate". It is shredded foam, rather than sheets. It has a removable, zippered washable cover. The non-removable waterproof covering barely makes any (crinkling) noise.I mentioned above that the top-rated bed has 7 inches of foam, but let me assure you, five inches of memory foam is A LOT of cushion. It holds my full body weight (125 lbs) and doesn't sink through to the floor. All three of my dogs were curious about it, but none laid on it right away. We're starting out by standing on it, sitting on it, half-laying on it, walking on it. The seller suggests that it might take the dog several weeks to get used to it and is willing to work with you regarding adjustment time/warranty period. That was nice to know.Although I cannot say this is a complete success (yet), I have high hopes for this bed. I don't plan to return it because we are making progress. It is a very well-made product, and the follow-up from the seller indicates a solid concern for customer satisfaction. Based on those conditions, I would absolutely recommend this product.

Our dog, a border collie, has been very active his entire life. Recently diagnosed with osteo arthritis in both hips a new bed was in order. After mulling over different options we decided on this bed and have not been disappointed. He uses it quite a lot. I think the shredded foam allows a lot more give while maintaining a good 'cushion' underneath him. I have always found memory foam slabs quite uncomfortable to lie on after a while. There are 4 gusseted compartments to keep the pieces in place. The cover is soft and silky to the touch and easily removable...in fact one of the easiest covers to take on and off that I have come across. Our boy is 51 lbs and we ordered the large, he has smaller beds, but this one allows him the room to stretch right out.

I thought this would be the perfect bed but my dog won't lie on it. He doesn't like it at all and chooses the hard, cold floor over this bed. The bed is a bit lumpy but I was hoping that would settle down with use, however, it's just sitting in the corner collecting dust. The cover is nice and it looks well made, but it's not useful to me.

I just received this today. Within 2-3 hours, it expanded to its full thickness of 5 inches. But I'm wondering why the mattress case is only 3.5 inches tall. I'm guessing that once the dog uses it, it flattens out a lot so the case only needs to be 3.5 inches tall. It looks like a pretty good mattress though. But I do find it's expensive.

My dog loves it, she slept on her new bed instead of on my bed the first night we had it. The cover is soft and easy to clean and the bed feels comfortable. I ordered size small and it was the exact measurements listed in the description. I didn’t notice any chemical smell, I saw that mentioned in other reviews. I would recommend this product.
