Converted. What a pleasant surprise!
I ordered this toothpaste about a week ago. It arrived quickly and without incident. I made my decision to purchase this item based off of size (I wanted 6.4 ounces), relative cost (I think I spent about 75 cents more per tube), customer reviews (there were LOTS of great reviews), and ingredients.Let me delve into the last one. This toothpaste contains baking soda. My dentist has sung songs about using baking soda every morning to clean my tongue. I have been read that trace amounts of baking soda is actually good for the body. I have tried other brands of baking soda toothpaste. (Cough cough limb and tool brand) Those were either grimy, or watery. I never considered myself as someone who cared about the texture of toothpaste, but I realized just how picky I am. I tend to prefer (and lean hard toward) gel type toothpastes. After trying this toothpaste for the very first time, I have been converted. Unless my next dentist visit is an under disaster, I will likely use this toothpaste for the rest of my life. I know that is saying quite a bit, so let me explain. This toothpaste FEELS good to brush with! The texture is practically unnoticeable in difference to my normal gel type. The taste is pleasant, and the experience of brushing is either just as good, or better. The other kicker (and why I am spending the little extra per tube) is the other ingredient. 25 percent Xylitol!Let me come back in time a little. I've had a former history of not taking care of my teeth. After a host of dental issues, I have adopted a consistent ritual. This ritual was lifted from a book (and can be found on the internet.) It involves mouthwashing with Closys, Brushing, and mouthwashing with Listerine. That was part one. Part two as having a daily and regular amount of Xylitol gum.I never did the second part. Yes, I know that it takes a couple weeks of some minor gas, or bloating, for people sensitive Xylitol. I am personally not affected in that way, but I know many people need an adjustment period. Yes, I know that there are people who believe Xylitol is the next worst thing to bell bottoms. But the author of the book was an actual dentist (if you wish to look it up, well, google fire your dentist recipe/regimen and Closys but I wouldn't necessarily suggest the book itself. Who the HELL takes 300 pages to say, mouthwash, brush, then mouthwash?!) That dentist knows more about teeth then I ever will. So. I'll give this addition of Xylitol a try. It's not the gum that is suggested. But it's SOME Xylitol versus none at all.Anyways, some googling has suggested the very beneficial traits of Xylitol on dental health because of its ability to kill off bacteria in the mouth. So, for now. Again, unless multiple negative nih (national institute of health) studies come about saying the stuff will kill you. I'll take my chances.More on the toothpaste. So. In summary. Tastes pleasant. Has baking soda without feeling gritty. Is actually gel smooth as far as brushing experience goes. Has Xylitol for antibacterial affects. AND leaves your mouth feeling fresh and clean. (If I had to guess. The baking soda does what baking soda does, and neutralizes a lot of the bad breathe sulfur compounds in your mouth. While the Xylitol kills the germs that cause bad breath too! Double bonus!Really. Try this stuff for 3 weeks. I say 3 because for some, 2 of those weeks will be assessing tolerance to Xylitol and/or getting used to it. You know your body better then anyone else. So you will quickly feel if you are someone who is sensitive to Xylitol. But I would totally try this toothpaste, right after a dentist visit. When your teeth are about as clean as they normal are, and you can perform an experiment on a "clean slate." Change nothing else. I will bet your bottom dollar that your dental health will have improved. Double that bet, if you do the mouthwash, brush, mouthwash thing. Goodluck out there, and I hope this helps.

A godsend for canker sore sufferers.
SLS (sodium laurel sulfate) is a terrible chemical that corporate toothpaste manufacturers use to induce foaming. But it causes canker sores in susceptible people. It’s not a stretch to call the absence of canker sores life changing. This gel tastes good, has no SLS; and no poisonous fluoride as well. Highly recommended!

STOP USING FLUORIDE..
I am a medical researcher. I read the studies related to the side effects of many drugs, vaccines, and the additives cities and counties put in the waterways to prevent buildup of molds, etc.I also read the studies related to the use of FLUORIDES in toothpaste, among many, many others. I did not like what I found, and stopped using CREST, my favorite for years, because of the adverse side effects that the additive causes.XyliWhite was recommended to me by a long time friend. I liked everything that was in this product, all of which is natural. Xylitol, the main ingredient, has proven in many studies, to prevent cavities, and to even help in tooth healing from them. I no longer chew regular Double Mint Gum, and have switched to a Xylitol spearmint gum. You can research this online, especially the topic of germ formation and the onset of cavities. The taste, for me, is great. With daily flossing, brushing has improved my overall dental outlook.I bought the package of 4 because the price was right, the expiration dates are good until 3/2027. I recommend keeping the product in a cool dry place.

Perfection in an SLS Free TP. Great Taste, Cleans well.
My doctor suggested an SLS Free Toothpaste, and it's taken me several tries( and lots of $$) to get it right. I have tried a few different kinds and brands of SLS Free toothpaste due to the fact that "normal" Crest types cause my to get cold sores and make my gums raw. ( now when I use Crest, it burns my mouth like chemicals. How did I use it for so many years!? )This is now the only one I will buy. My son even likes it. It has a nice, minty flavor, it cleans my teeth really well and has no weird aftertaste. Perfection!Other pros: The tube size is 'normal' size. Not tiny like so many other 'organic' kindsThe price is really good compared to other SLS free brands. It's the total package!

Thank you NOW Foods
Great floride-free toothpaste. I don't believe there is a better stain fighter out there; specially if you have dentures or a partial.

Best Toothpaste Ever!
This is our favorite toothpaste. They also make this in a cinnamon flavor which is my niece's favorite; but my granddaughter prefers the mint. Tubes of this went into Easter baskets and gifts along with all the goodies so brushing those teeth would be something they would think of doing. The mint is even the flavor my 5 year old granddaughter takes in her backpack to school so she can brush there. It's her favorite and she will not use anything else. If you do research on sweeteners, Xylitol is one of the best for killing candida albicans' type fungal bacteria. It's good for dental hygiene and there is no harm if some of it gets swallowed. It does not contain the harmful ingredients as standard commercial toothpastes...like fluoride.

Great product
Been using the stuff for a few years now and I'm pleased with the results. Gentle on the gums, taste is not too bad and it does whiten. I prefer this as a regular go to over Fluoride based toothpaste any day. Interesting enough the local food market sells packs of gum with xylitol. With so many different brands out there these days, this company has been consistent and a good bargain.
