Failed after just a few prints.
Item worked for a short while, produced some acceptable prints, but the extruder unexpectedly stopped heating up after just a handful of small prints. Disappointing to say the least. The printer was not hard to set up, though the documentation is not especially clear. Too bad - this was a gift for my child and this is a disappointing experience.

Good Choice of Entry Level Printer
5 star for the first impression, I'll keep posting update. This is not DIY printer so basically you don't need to set it up from parts. I've done arduino hardware DIY before so I spend like 10-15 minutes to make it work. Adjusting the height of the bed plate took most of the time. Basically you need to leave the gap just right, and for my machine I would suggest a gap that just let a paper slide through. Too big or too small will lead to printing failure. And I choose the file in the SD card as a test, the one failed at half way. I don't know why I was going out when it happened. The second one went well as expected.Because this is a cheap entry level printer so I knew the printing quality will not be as perfect as those thousands dollar products. But I'm happy to see that the result is better than I expected. Generally speaking, the quality is totally acceptable (at least at this moment).I bought this mainly for two reasons: 1. I just want a entry-level printer at a cheap price. 2. As I said I did some design with arduino and stuff, so I take this a reference somehow to see how things work, how mistake could happen, what to design better. I think this printer has a lot of things to study/develop for those who are interested in the are.Other comments:The package is good and solid. But the assembly of the machine is a little bit loose (which is fine in terms of functioning) This probably can be fix later. And by the way, personally, I like how the printer looks.

I expected out of the box usability like I eventually got with the Monoprice mini but didn't ...
In my opinion this device is not for the layman. I expected out of the box usability like I eventually got with the Monoprice mini but didn't get it with this model. It could use a heated bed.

Solid entry level printer
Very solid well made printer. Fun entry level tinkering. Just remember that the extruded will only work if the nozzle is heated up.

False advertising and substandard parts.
The printer worked well for 5 total prints and the temperature sensor went bad. It comes with one extra and no information on how to get more. If they go out after only 5 prints, I am going to need a lot of them. Also, the information on Amazon say the printer will work with several filaments (PLA, ABS, etc.) however, the very limited information that came with the printer say it can only print with PLA. I wouldn't have bought the printer had I know that in advance. The directions that come with the printer are incomplete and poorly translated.

Fun project for engineers, not for kids.
I have mixed feelings about this one. The best way to describe it is a toy for an engineer - it's going to take a TON of tinkering. I've resoldered two items so far, and I'm replacing some other parts of it, etc. But for what it is you can't get a better deal. And it's very modular so it's easy to work on, if you're comfortable with electronics. Definitely not something to give a kid, etc. but if you own your own soldering iron and wire strippers, and they're well used, you'll love it :-)Edit: After replacing some items as requested, including a part that wasn't the correct part, I ran into further failures. The heater on the tip failed, and then the extruder control on the control board failed. I would have had to replace the control board, so I sent the printer back for a refund. I don't mind being a bit hands-on, but things just kept failing on it until it no longer worked at all.

Grerat Little 3D Printer to Start 3D Printing
This is a great little 3D Printer. I am just starting in the 3D printing world so I have very little experance with the process but the Borlee Printer was strait forward in the setup and operation. I tried to hold off posting a review right away until I had some time with the printer. I have printed a number of things and it has been a really fun time.
