Indie Boards & Cards Delve Board Games

Got this as a late Christmas gift for my brother. Fun game, plays like carcassonne meets simple dnd and/or the cards of catan or something. Great art, except for a section on the back of the box where it's pixelated, like someone submitted a smaller file to the printer than they should have. not a major issue.Four of us played the game together (max number of players) and we all enjoyed it. The gift-recipient wanted to play it again later the same day we had played it, so that's good :) It probably took us an hour and a half/two hours to play, plus reading through the rule book. would play quicker since we have the gist of it now.The interior of the box has no organization insert, not a big deal, just mentioning it. And I think another reviewer mentioned putting stickers on pieces, so I'm here to say that is still the case, but it's just for like 20 pieces or something like that, so no big deal there. The stickers go into a recessed plastic piece, so unless you have a really determined sticker peeler in your house (like a five year old or something haha) they're not going to accidentally get peeled off.Happy with this purchase!

If you've ever played carcassone, Delve is that plus dice battles. A good intro into the world of board games, the rules are simple and quick to master. The artwork is decent and the pieces all serve their purpose.

This is a decent tile-laying game. The rules could be clearer but it’s ok. Carcassone with combat in a nutshell.

In "Delve", players guide a band of adventurers through the dungeons of Skull Cavern. Each turn places a dungeon tile and an adventurer, exploring the dangers below and searching for loot. When a room or corridor is completed, Delvers must fight for their share of the gold and treasure. But, if a player manages to complete a room alone, they must overcome dangerous encounters before collecting their riches.Delve combines tile-laying and an immersive "story" experience. Delve is a fun game. The high randomness keeps final scores close despite players having different skill levels. It is fun and exciting to build a dungeon and to fight for control of a location. We have played this game with 10 & 12 year-olds and adults, and everyone enjoys it. I recommend this game. Please mark if you find my review helpful. Thank you so much!

Really enjoyed the game. The quality of the pieces are not expensive looking and you have to put the stickers on so hopefully the quality will get better but the game itself is fun.
