It works. It reaches the appropriate temperature necessary to initiate the body's response to build collegen, 42-45°C. It remains within that temperature. There is not temperature read on the device, so I checked the temperature of my skin after I completed a section and it was exactly 107.6°F, which equals 42°C. The device's instructions say the device has a built in senor that begins to decrease its power when/if it reaches 42°C. I'm not so sure about that one. That would be pretty spot on and Ive never encountered any device so truthful. So, proceed with caution. I will say, my skin would not even permit any more, while it was not burning me, I certainly knew to stop that moment. Anyone would. It doesnt make any beeping noises to tell you to stop in one section or automatically shut itself off when it decided you were done in any given section. Perhaps people like that. Ive never encounter a device that trusted me to make adult decisions. I understood people find those cues helpful, and they probably are. Ive always dested authority and apparently I still do. Devices that make loud beeping sounds after every pass (and that is completely typical) makes it impossible for me to sneak the use of, and get away with, an anti-aging device! Seriously, not everything I do needs to me known. The only drawback is the lack of instructions on how to effectively maximize the device's potential. While it explains what you need to do and not to do for safety reasons, and how to take care of the device, and that there are 6 temperature intensity setting, the literal operating directions do lack guardrails. It says move the device in a laterally motion (not sure how many passes), but when it gets to the directly under the chin diagram it indicates a horizontal motion. No indication of how long or amount of passes. Clearly, I get it, but I do enjoy exactness especially when I'm "allowed" to make adult decisions. :) So, I go along the path, sections, and time parameters I have read in the many similar devices I've wasted my money buying. (They never reach the temperature required to work.) Those are either all accurate or completely wrong. Buuuuut, despite that, the device is absolutely legit. I gave it 5 stars because giving it four because it lacks instructions isn't worth the risk of people filtering reviews for 5 stars and subsequently missing mine. This is why mine is so detailed. The instructions it do give are absolutely relevant and will safetly allow you to operate it, so those do exist enough. I'm a compliance engineer, so I know its passed the necessary safety inspections because all the certificates are indicated on it's box. Trust me, they literally can't just print those. The US does have very strict laws for imports that transmit any type of emissions - definitely radio frequency! I opted for the wired version just because saving a hundred dollars was worth the small annoyance especially if it was unclear whether it would actually function. This is amazon afterall. I am absolutely excited to report it does. (At least the one I purchased from this, the current, seller. They do change - "rebrand." This device makes me feel like I'm giving medi spas a middle finger. (I just do not like authority.) They literally charge thousands for this exact treatment/service and this device matches theirs in effective required temperature, which is absolutely key. So buy it. May you too get tighter skin in the privacy of your bathroom! P.s. Be sure to go in a lateral motion but keep the lateral distance short. The skin must remain at the required collegen re-building temperature during every section you are working on to yield significant results. You may already know this, but the instructions do not say as much. I do 5 minutes per section, 3x a week. That is not medical advice. Just what I do, and my face hasn't melting off. So, there's that. I'm 48 (ugh), but I literally look 35 - tops.

I just got this. I chose the cordless one so I could take it with me and use while doing other things. It died so quickly and took over an hour to recharge. I called the company. They said that the charge only lasts 20 min (depending on what level used). What?! That means you’d have to charge it 4-5 times to do your whole face/neck. I’m returning this and buying something a different brand. So disappointed.
