Kung Pow! Enter the Fist [DVD]

It seems a lot of reviews for this DVD are all mixed together from various sellers. They review the movie but not so much the DVD quality. I know a lot of these got boot legged as this DVD has been pretty rare and hard to find at times. This one is the real deal. Menus, extras, etc are all great and if this is a boot leg it fooled me and I have collected 100's of "rare" movies! The movie quality on the DVD is every bit as good as any DVD I've ever gotten. This is a nostalgic movie, is so bad that is good and thats why i like it plus you get a good laugh

I watched this all the time as a kid (would not recommend for children) and bought is for nostalgic purposes. It’s a hilariously silly spoof that will at the very least give you some funny movie references.

I just love this movie. It’s the epitome of my childhood humor. Maybe it’s the rose tinted glasses but I can’t imagine NOT giving it 5 stars. It’s just so quotable.

Originally saw this movie because my Uncle had recorded on DVR and showed me it. Instantly fell in love. The slap stick, stupid comedy in this gem will never get old. Worth a watch if you aren't a prude with a stick up your rear. Life's short, don't take yourself too seriously.

If you like crazy offbeat comedy that makes little sense based on the thousands of shaw brothers style kung fu movies out there this is the film for you. The more 70s kung fu movies you've watched the more "in jokes" you will acknowledge and appreciate. Not for everyone but those that enjoy it absolutely love it. Or as Master Pain might say "that's Betty, you son of a pig, nayahahahahaa hmmnmmm nnnmmmmmm mmnnn!"

Seen this a long time ago and wanted to rewatch it. none of my second-hand shops had it so I bought it from here. Very goofy movie. not intended to be serious but just a chill and kick back kinda movie.

It's absurd, the plot is blonkers and if you've not seen it your first viewing will make you laugh in ways you've not in a very long time.

I was told of this film by a good friend who shares the same silly sense of humour that I do and I have to admit I was a little sceptical at first. There have been other films that have tried the format that Kung Pow have and have failed miserably in my opinion so I wansn't really expecting any different. How wrong I was.From the very beginning I was on the floor crying with laughter. By the end I was in need of an ambulance as my ribs had not only cracked from merciless mirth but had removed themselves from my body and gone out looking for a punchup and come back smashed to bits. I missed alot of the film as I couldnt hear myself think or see the screen for the tears. It is just too silly for words and takes the proverbial p**s out of itself all the way through. There are some cracking lines that will have you chuckling long after its finished. In fact my mate and me use them as catchphrases now which annoys everyone else we know.If you laugh at people falling over or people with speech impediments then you have the right stupid sense of humour for this film. Buy it, it's gotta LOTTA NUTS!!

Curious, read the reviews below, ignore the one with 2 stars, i dare you to get thru this film without crying with laughter or endlessly muttering catchphrases to your work colleagues for years after like, 'thats a lotta nuts' 'birdy....birdy' 'its a net and its tiny' 'weoeoeoeoeoe' 'wchhh' 'you should be able to beat him now!' etc etc...give it a chance the first 5 minutes are a little slow, but at least give it to the opening credits, my household had to pause the video to get tissue to dry eyes and blow noses. We had to keep rewinding the video because we were laughing all over the dialogue.....please please see this film...it is genius! stupid, but clever.
