When Gibson® designed and built the ES-335 it was a hit. This Haywire Custom guitar contains some of the best elements of a Gibson® 335 and a Strat®. It's our version with some refinements. You can add your requirements and it will be a true custom guitar to your specs!The ES-335 model guitar was a big hit for Gibson®. With its semi-hollow carved top body and F-holes mated to thick-toned P.A.F. humbuckers, the 335 is a classic that has stood the test of time. The Haywire 335 Stratocaster® combines the best elements of a Gibson® 335 and a Strat®. The lower bout is not as wide-it's only 12-7/8 inches, giving it better balance for playing while sitting or standing. The thickness and 24-3/4" Gibson Scale is the same as the 335, and the back is solid Mahogany wood shaped and cut out like a Strat® with a comfort cut for a closer fit to your body. The one piece solid back is also carved out to make it hollow. The top is a book matched flamed Maple and is vintage honey-sunburst. The neck is slim with a Gibson® 24-3/4 inch scale and feel with 22 frets. All Mahogany set 22 fret neck.
