MiniPC Interfering with CEC // Didn't know this was a thing until it fixed it
I have a GMKTEK K6 that is plugged into my TCL QM851 TV. My CEC wasn't working. I unplugged everything and started to build it out... TV+Soundbar = CEC worked; TV+Soundbar+Shield = CEC worked. TV+Soundbar+Shield+Mini PC = CEC didn't work.It turns out the MiniPC was putting a load on the HDMI pin 13 -- interfering with CEC devices. This solution blocks pin 13... so I plugged the adapter into the HDMI cable going to the mini PC. Now the whole TV, soundbar, Shield and MiniPC work great.Important to note: The MiniPC is at 4K 120Hz...this adapter passes the 4k 120Hz perfectly... for higher refresh rate gaming.

Fixes PC/Samsung TV incompatibility
This solved our issue of the Samsung TV not playing nice with the PC plugged in via USB. Despite directions insisting that only one port would engage the PC override, this was not the case. This plug allowed the PC to operate properly. This took a LOT of digging to figure out. Hope it saves someone else the trouble.

It just works
Simple and just works. I upgraded my classic Roku Streaming Stick+ to a new Streaming Stick 4k as the new sticks have much better WiFi performance. Problem is, Roku added some unnecessary smarts to the new stick. With the old stick, I turned on my TV, and the Roku and my Bose soundbar all came on together. The new 4k stick broke that, and my soundbar wouldn't power on automatically anymore. I added this to block the CEC signals from the new Roku stick, and all is good again.

Works
Perfect for my use case. My vizio sound bar would randomly increase volume because of my tv. If you are having odd problems even when you disable arc i would try this.

Soundbar
Worker as intended. It blocks a CEC. Ended up returning it since it did not resolve my Samsung Soundbar dropping arc. I ended up settling and turned bitstream off and going back to pcm. With this product just be mindful of your HDMI port location as its basically the size of the bulky end of your typical HDMI cable. You might not have enough room to run your HDMI cord or need something with a right angle.

Keeps My Devices from Powering Each Other On
I'm not sure who the geniuses are who decided my devices need to turn each other on and off without my prompting, but the functionality cannot be disabled on either my Samsung TV or my 4K player. This device acts a supervising adult between the two, keeping them from exhibiting this very unwanted behavior.

Does what I need it to do
I found a 4K Blu Ray player (LG UP875) at a thrift store for $8 and decided to take a chance on it. The player worked perfectly except for the fact that it was turning on whenever I turned on the TV or receiver. I figured it was a CEC issue. I searched the manual and online but the answer seemed to be that there was no way to fix this issue in the settings. This adapter was the fix. I figured I would lose the ability to use the volume and input commands, but those continue to function without the player getting turned on by the other equipment. I hate that I had to drop over double the cost of the player on this adapter, but I'm still way ahead of what it would cost to buy something new. Recommended.

Worked exactly as needed!
I have an LG C2 OLED, Denon S760 AVR, and plugged into it I have both an Nvidia Shield TV Pro and Apple TV 4K. I really don't use the Apple TV much but still have it plugged in for Airplay use or random things here and there. I watch all my content through the Nvidia Shield so the input on the receiver is primarily the one for the Shield. What I would run into any time I actually left the HDMI cable from the Apple TV actually plugged into the input in the AVR is the CEC somewhere in the line ALWAYS highjacking things and switching the input on the AVR to the Apple TV one, which then would turn on the Apple TV and it was iNCREDIBLY annoying that no matter what I did with CEC settings the only thing that would actually fix the issue is to disconnect the HDMI cable from either the back of the Apple TV or the back of the receiver and have to physically plug it in any time I DID want to actually use it. I read on reddit that this device could do the trick. I plugged the HDMI cable from the AVR into the female port of the BlueRigger, then plugged that into the back of the Apple TV, et voila! I can turn on the Nvidia Shield which turns on the Receiver which turns on the TV and all the CEC works flawlessly without having the input automatically switch to the Apple TV. Worked like a charm.
