Surge Protector, 1 Outlet, 540 Joules with EMI/RFI filter Computer Surge Protector, (ED70340)

This little guy seems to do the trick for some appliances when it comes to arc-fault nuisance tripping issues. I am an electrician and I have used this with some success to eliminate unwanted nuisance tripping on arc-fault protected circuits. (It cuts out unwanted noise or frequencies that might cause an arc-fault breaker to trip.) However, you should only use this product within it's rating or rated compacity. Do not exceed the product's rating! Otherwise, you could burn it up. And, make sure your appliance doesn't have an actual problem.... (If something you have plugged in causes an arc-fault breaker to trip maybe you shouldn't run or use it unattended just in case there is a real problem.)

Tried this to solve nuisance AFCI tripping with my Dyson DC08. It has always tripped the AFCI circuits in my home, even when the house was new. I am going to return this item and replace the breaker instead. Other than that, I have no way of verifying this item is doing what it claims to do.Editing review to let everyone know that switching out the breaker did in-fact solve my tripping breaker problem.

We had a whole house remodel and all of are outlets are now on arc fault circuit interrupters. Our Dyson was arcing so we couldn’t use it any longer. I searched for a solution and found this. PERFECT works like a charm. Can vacuum continuously without tripping the circuit.

Bought it after reading other reviews that this product helped with finicky circuit breakers that would “pop”. This would happen a lot when we used vacuums in certain bedrooms. This surge protector has helped... a lot. Tried one on our Dyson and worked great came back and got one for my hand vac. I just leave each connected to each vacuum and we’re good to go.

This is a great product I have a new home and I have these breakers that keeps kicking out because of the vacuum cleaner it's about 5 years old and and when the motor kick in it throws the breaker it's a great vacuum cleaner they say this is normal sometimes so I bought this product put it on my vacuum plug now I can use it anywhere in the house my neighbor is an electrician he said this is completely safe so now we don't have to go use just the bathroom outlets with the GF I breakers I recommend this to anybody that where the Breakers keep trippin

I bought this for the express purpose of allowing me to use a vacuum in a newly-wired room with brand new AFCI etc. It doesn't prevent the AFCI from tripping. So a waste of money for what I wanted it for.

Purchased to cancel out RFI. Did not do that. Will use as a surge protector only.

Speakers gained a buzzing feedback after installing a PowerLine adapter. This surge protector eliminated the feedback issue with the speakers.
