Rubbermaid Brilliance Plastic Food Storage Pantry Baking Set, 3 Containers with Lids (6 Pieces Total), BPA-Free, Clear

I bought 3 containers to hold my 25 lbs of rice. It's great that it is strong, has a good seal to keep out moisture. It fits nicely on my pantry shelf, easy to easy and reach. Saves me from pushing and lifting around a 25 lb bag to get a couple cups of rice. It is well made and should last for years. The seal is good enough to hold liquids and not leak out when the container is tipped over.I've owned other Rubbermaid products and they are consistently a good design and a good value.

Very impressed with these containers. I had 50 + year old Tupperware. They were falling apart and the little chips ended up in my flour. Found out they were unsafe plastic anyways. I am going to order up a more larger ones for cat food and my other assorted flour.

This is a very solid container, like kitchen utensils used to be. It's very nice to use, and holds two boxes of granola cereal, though check your sizes against capacity. Feels it will last a long time, seals well, and shold keep the mice away as finding nothing they can get into in my cupboard. I like the feel of quality.

Perfect for large boxes of cereal. Cereals often have terrible inner bags that annoy me. Now I empty them into this container where the contents remain fresh, dry and protected from being crushed into dust.

I ordered two of these to store my bread flour and whole wheat flour for making bread. I like the size and shape. They fit nicely in my pantry and hold enough flour, so I won't need to refill the containers as frequently as I would with a smaller container. They seem sturdy and perfect for my needs.

I have used Rubbermaid products over the years and for the most part I have been satisfied. In my opinion in general many name brand consumer products have had some decline in overall quality including Rubbermaid. With this thought mind my review is based on what is available in today's market. I have the 16 cup capacity version.My product is new as of the date of this review. If anything changes over time I will update this review. The lid seals air tight without any problems. A nice feature is the lid has a large lip at the corners allowing easy removal of the lid. My containers are clear as described.The product description says the product is TOP RACK dishwasher safe and freezer safe. Since the description emphasizes top rack this implies product may be damaged if used with heat on the bottom rack. I my opinion if the dishwasher is set to heated dry I would hand wash only since the product is made of plastic and would be exposed to high heat no matter what rack is used.Regarding my 16 cup container the marketing dialog suggest using this container in a pantry or shelf. My use is to store a couple containers in a kitchen drawer. This 16 cup container is the largest that will fit while still allowing drawer space for other items. See photos.For the 16 cup container the Amazon product page dimensions are slightly larger (not very much) than the actual measurements. For most uses this may not matter, but in my case the height is just about the maximum that will fit in my drawer. See photos.As of today my only complaint is the overall quality of the lid latches. Being all plastic the hinge can break without very much excessive force placed towards the open position. See photo 3. Even though my order was discounted, as of the date of this review the list price on the Amazon product page is $24.99. At this price a better design of the hinge could have been done. Again, as I stated in my first paragraph this is today's product market

good price looks to be good quality says air tight we will see about that when the ants come to visit im using it for cat food storage hopefully this works

Finally, an airtight container! I'll have to purchase a bigger size as it is not enough to hold my coffee beans, so keep that in mind when looking at the "cups" it is liquid cups not chunky solids. The lid opens and closes easily. I love that it is clear, so I don't have to guess what is in the container. I will be purchasing more for other pantry items!
