Corvette Stingray: The Seventh Generation of America's Sports Car Hardcover – January 15, 2014

This is THE book to read if you own or have interest int he C7 Corvette. Out of print so anything found will be used. My book was described as 'good' condition. Edges of my binding are completely worn through, pages were creased in and deformed 20 at a time. Outside paper cover is chewed up. I expected more from purchasing off Amazon and why I did not go to eBay. While I recommend this book, get actual pictures of the book prior to purchase. I over paid.

I just bought a Series 7 Corvette and was interested in the development of this series. The book provides a very interesting description of how the new series of the Corvette came to be; the Corvette's history, the C-7 design, engineering, marketing and manufacturing. The book is illustrated with beautiful sketches and photographs of the car, the factory and the Corvette Museum. I couldn't put it down. It gave me a completely new perspective on my Corvette. This book is a must read for anyone interested in "America's Sports Car."

The information was good and the photos were very high quality.The book was not packaged very well for shipping. There were several bubble packs in the box but not enough to prevent the book from sliding around in the box, resulting in scuffs on the cover and a couple deformed corners on the book.

It's nice to see a C7 in a dealers showroom or on the road and say WOW!!!!!! what a car. But what does anyone know about how this masterpiece of engineering design and function came to be? This book sums it up with a simple statement........."ALL YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT THE C7 BUT DIDN'T KNOW WHERE TO LOOK"! So if you want to know how it began as an idea to the first production car off the Bowling Green assembly line, this IS the book.! The words definitely compliment the pictures. A must have for any C7 owner or wanna be owner. I waited over 4 months to get this book and it was worth the wait.

This is an outstanding book for Corvette enthusiasts. It covers all aspects of the C7 with outstanding pictures and writing. The information is great and helps one appreciate the C7 much more. It is a very interesting and enjoyable book.

Excellent book on the C7 series of corvettes. Would highly recommend this to anyone interested in the car. Very informative and great pics of all facets of the construction and engineering.

Great book! Loved all of the history and development of my favorite car. Recommend for all Corvette C7 fans. Fantastic pictures.

This book is a nice addition to a corvette library. Tells all about the development of the new car. Based on the info I bought a real one. great car!!!If you're into Corvette history this book is somewhat flawed i.e. "the 1957 Corvette significant feature 250 hp fuel injection" the 283 hp fuely and the 4spd tranny and positraction are what the 57 is known for. Lots of little stuff like this ,but otherwise a good buyJim Pfister
