Boo! Baa, La La La!

I gave this book as part of a Halloween gift to a three-month-old. Her parents enjoy reading it to her, and she is attentive. She will probably enjoy it more when she is older, but listening to her parents and looking at the pictures is a good start. The illustrations are colorful and simple.

My 12mo old LOVES this book and we read it multiple times a day! Very colorful pictures!

Sandra Boynton’s books have quickly become favorites in our house and this one is no different. Definitely helps getting the little one into the Halloween spirit. Rhyming and cute little pictures means we end the book and then start over. So cute!

My son’s favorite book is Moo, Baa, La La La! Naturally, when I saw this one I had to get it. We love Sandra Boynton. Her books read well, are easy to memorize, and provide endless educational opportunities! I wouldn’t say this one is as good as the original, but it’s still pretty darn cute. I think my son is a little confused as to why the cow says “BOO,” but it’ll be good practice for Halloween! I got this a few months before Halloween in hopes it gets him excited about it. He’s 27 months and has a speech delay, but Boynton’s books have really helped improve his vocabulary! I always read the book a few times first, then start leaving the last word or phrase off at the end and pause…. which usually prompts him to finish the sentence! He recently mastered the original, so now we’re working on this one! There’s glimpses of the original all throughout, complete with the pigs saying “la la la” on the last page (his favorite part).Highly recommend this for babies and toddlers of all ages! You can’t beat amazon’s price. Even though it’s a Halloween book, it can be read year-round. 🎃 hope this helps!UPDATE: After just a couple weeks, he picked up some new Halloween terms! He loves counting the pumpkins throughout, too. Love it!

My 1 year old loves this book so much! It helped him learn some new animal sounds, and it’s the first book he learned so well he knows what’s coming next and will make the sounds for me. It’s adorable, but this man is so addicted to this book he was making us read the same two pages over and over again. 😅 I hid it so we can get a break for a couple days. 😂 I’m about to order the original Moo, Baa, La La La to switch it up a little.

Was expecting it to be more similar to moo baa la la la. Instead it tells a little bit different story. Still a good book, but maybe my expectations were a little too high.

I read these books to my own children 30 years ago and are finding them again for the grandchild. The books are just as fun and loved by the new generation.

My daughter loves Moo Baa La La La and now she’s loves Boo Baa La La La too! She loves all of the different Halloween images and “reading” it to us even after the holiday is over.

My daughter absolutely adores these books and even tries to read along with them. They're beautiful and so fun to read!

Bought for my boy as one of my favourite books growing up was Moo Baa Laa Laa Laa (can still recite word for word).At first it felt a bit of a let down compared to some of her other books but it grew on me. Not as good as personal penguin or hippos go berserk or snuggle puppy but still good.

I love this author but this book has no sense to me. It’s like it was written in a hurry. I would recommend all other books by this author, except this one!
