Just OK. Can't feel much heat or cold on the soft side, but the other side is too hot or cold and sticks to your skin. Works when the kids have an imaginary owie, doesn't do much for my arthritis pain.

These ice packs are more adorable than they are functional. They are smaller than I anticipated and will only stay cold for about 30minutes to an hour.

Better as a cold pack. Easy to overheat and destroy gels...
