Nice legs! See quick tip about screwdriver and screws and drilling
Great product for the price. I did some comparison shopping at a local woodworking store and this set is about $40 less than an identical model there. Production quality is nice - clean welds and smooth outer coating. The coating has not chipped on me as seen on some reviews, but time will tell.I'm no stranger to wood working but i just wished the proper screw size would be listed in the instructions. The holes are 1/4" diameter, so I went with #10 wood screws with washers. The screw length will depend on your surface thickness, so you'd want to choose a size that goes about 3/4 into the material. Also make sure you drill pilot holes to prevent splitting the wood grain. I used a 5/32" drill bit for my butcher block surface. I started out with 9/64" drill bit (one size smaller) but I felt too much resistance while screwing in the #10 screws. 5/32" worked perfectly for me, but if you are not comfortable, start one size smaller. Some reviewers had trouble with the oddly positioned inner holes so a quick tip is to use an offset ratchet screwdriver. They can be had for less than $10 at your hardware/tool store. It's designed to reach tight spaces like this, and also adds leverage to make tightening easier.Hope this helps!

I think the finish and quality on these is excellent. There are no sharp edges
I think the finish and quality on these is excellent. There are no sharp edges; the welds look good to my untrained eye. Somebody in another review mentioned an issue with the paint - I think the paint on mine looks top notch so far and will also add this: if you do have a problem with paint, or want to refinish for whatever reason, at least you can spot-fix or re-paint easily, especially when it is flat black. That is not the case with powdercoat, which is why I was happy to go with legs that were painted. The instructions that come with these are also a nice touch - they are well written and offer useful advise on positioning the legs and what screw length is best.If I had to be picky, my only critique is that the screw holes do seem like they could be better positioned. I used a drill extension, fresh drill bit, new screws, and pre-drilled the holes, but still ended up rounding off the middle screws a little (just a little) in order to get them tight. With that said, this is a minor, almost negligible inconvenience, and even with the most rudimentary of tools I could have secured the legs just fine.

Look no further for quality legs.... ...
Look no further for quality legs.... Here was my dilemma... We needed a new coffee table to match the new sofa... My wife and daughter were sentimental about replacing our old one... To purchase a new one, there was a number of criteria I had to meet. This brought me down to two ugly tables from the entire internet. I wanted a driftwood gray tabletop, but there had to be room for the dog under the table (wife's stipulation). Harry's legs saved the day... I found a commercial restaurant tabletop in just the color I wanted, and harrys 16" legs provided room for our dog underneath. And after the custom coffee table build, I ordered the 28" legs and re-purposed the ol' sentimental coffee table into a utility table. Win win for the wife, which is a win win for me... Buy these legs in any size, you can't go wrong...

NICE alternative for secure legs.
Well done. Attractive. Strong. Install was ok but center screw holes required an angle to enable adequate drill access. I found guide holes were quite necessary.I ordered two sets of four as my slab table is 12 feet long and very heavy. I also put the legs in from the edge 4 inches instead of the recommended 2 inches. The result of eight legs supports my table top nicely. No complaints about these legs. Quality and finish are just fine.

Best choice for my project.
We used the hairpin table legs to make a dining table out of an antique door. The measurement is 82x30. I wanted legs that looked modern and not "heavy" like thick wood legs. These work perfectly. The table is very easy to move around. I chose the 3 rod legs for more support as the door was heavy. Easy to install, cool looking piece of furniture.

Nice sturdy table legs.
Nice sturdy, well made table legs. After buying a different style table leg and returning them because they were so wobbly, these were a nice surprise. I'd buy these again! Only negative thing I can say is the instructions said the mounting holes were 1/4". I bought #14 screws which are slightly under 1/4", and they wouldn't fit the holes. I drilled them out to 1/4" and all is fine.
