Stainless Steel Salad Spinner-Suitable for Vegetables,Fruit and Lettuce-Easy to Clean and Dishwasher Safe

The inside bowl that actually spins gets off balance, like all others I have tried, but not as severely. It works.

It's hard to hold the lid down when spinning. There is no lock and no handle to grip with the other hand.

Works well, but very small.

I like the stainless steel bowl. It works fine, abit stiff! But it does the job.

We purchased this salad spinner to replace an older model with a broken pull string inside the lid. We had a problem with the first spinner having multiple damages/defects all over the metal bowl & spinner lid. We contacted Happycook Fashion & they did get back to us, but it took 3-4 days & then they did send out another spinner, to replace the badly damaged one. The second spinner was not as damaged, but this one arrived & the metal bowl was oblong, which did not let the spinner lid fit. Plus both had a problem with the spinner knob; it has a strong oil smell, that gets on your hands when you use the spinner. We tried to clean it multiple ways & with different cleaners, but it never goes away.After testing the first one out, it seemed to work OK, but we had to throw out what we put in it because of the damages & the knob smell. We tried reshaping the bowl & testing the second spinner, but since it was so much out of shape, when we used it water shot out everywhere, no matter how tight we held the lid. This was a good idea, since the metal bowl is better than a plastic one, but with all the defects & problems it just did not work as it should.The quality of both these spoons is just OK and they definitely need a better overall design & finish to make this an item great. There are multiple areas where screws can be removed to keep the spinner working; but no screw to remove the bad smelling knob, which would have been nice, since that defect makes this item pretty much useless. The spinner part works nicely, but with all the other problems we had, that one item will not make this a worthwhile kitchen gadget.Pros:Metal bowl, instead of plastic; which can be used for other kitchen tasksDecent spinning motion, on the spinner lid& Lid can be taken apart to clean or fix if neededCons:First bowl was badly damaged & second one was badly warped to an oblong shape.Both spinner sets were a little different in shape & size; and each one had different defects as well.& Neither spinner worked perfectly & both needed to be held down tightly, to keep the water from spraying out.Overall we do not like this salad spinner set for all the defects, bad designs & problems we noticed while using. We would only recommend this spinner if they fixed the defects & made the spinner lid fit tighter. We originally were giving this a 3-star review, but after trying out two spinners, we decided on a 2-star review rating, especially since the second one that was to replace the first defective one & was pretty much useless with the out of shape bowl. We can however somewhat recommend the company that sells this spinner set: Happycook Fashion; because they did respond (even if it took a few days) & stood behind what they sell. We took off 1-star on our rating, because even though we received a replacement second salad spinner, they both were damaged/defective and are pretty much both worthless to use with these defects & damages.Thank you for you time & interest in our review. I love this salad spinner! I waited a few months to give a review as I read a few bad ones. So far I haven't had any problems. It spins nicely and gets the water out of the lettuce. I like that it comes with a stainless steel bowl that can double as a serving dish.
