Good product, design and artisanship. However, the side are thin, not sure how it will last.

Just beautiful. The wood is this dark (as in the picture). Definitely large enough to serve salad, fruit or to use for decoration...as I am doing. The tempered glass bowl inside is really nice too. It makes for a great popcorn bowl. All pieces are quality. Only con would be is that it seems like the wood is thin to me. I would prefer it to be a bit thicker. Other than that, I love it. Highly recommend.

The salad bowl and glass insert was even more beautiful than the picture showed. I bought this for my daughter-in-law's birthday and she was equally impressed. We had not seen this combination anywhere before and know it will be great to serve out of. The glass insert will keep oily salad dressings from affecting the inside of the wooden salad bowl and can also be used separately as a serving piece.

I agree with all the great things said about these bowls, love them! I was going to buy from a Dept. Store but Amazon had a better value.

I was looking for a salad bowl to replace a wooden bowl which separated. This size is perfect and I like having the glass insert which will ensure the wood bowl will last longer.

Have used several times and adds much to the appeal and arrangement of my salads.
