Much better build quality (and heavier) than I expected - mostly aluminum construction, including the legs, which are quite sturdy. The best feature is the portability - they collapse down to a cylinder, and I can easily fit two in my backpack along with my other gear. I've seen this type of portable design with some selfie stick stands, but most of those are pretty flimsy in comparison, not nearly as well built.Another small but nice feature is the spring mechanism in the tripod head - it lets me lock down my light securely without worrying about it twisting loose. These stands are a bit pricey for what they do, but I was immediately impressed by the overall quality and ordered a second one the same day I received my first one.

Much more stable than previous dinky ones I’ve tried. My business is travel photography and these are perfect for me. 3/4s of the folded length are the legs, which are longer than the pics make out (joke sidestepped). Easy to lock in place by just holding the top and twisting at desired length.15” packing size, are you kidding me? I put this on par with Peak Designs tripod. They’re heavy duty metallic, not plastic. Pretty stable for most LED lights and reflectors. Probably even more.Highly recommend.

For $60, definitely expected a more premium feeling piece of kit. It’s so useful though! I use it for my GoPro and it mounts perfectly, or sometimes I use it for my iphone gimbal, although I usually don’t go to full extension with heavier items as it can be very susceptible to wind and swaying, it’s great for my like cube and other small items. I still have to be delicate with it though which I don’t like, I wish it felt a little more sturdy. It’s also very awkward to carry around as my camera bag tripod latch can’t attach to this cause it’s just a tube. Not a very thought out product.

Bought two of these to use as light stands, but also found them to be useful for quick and easy camera use. With the small footprint and simple height adjustment, it is great for use while sitting in theater type seats. The only issue is that the camera mount head does not rotate separately from the base, so it is somewhat difficult to get the tilt adjustment to be aligned for tilt up and down motion without loosening or tightening camera on its mount and the moving the base around, which is difficult in some narrow sitting areas.

The Lume Cube 60-inch light stand is a versatile bit of gear that makes it possible to build a very lightweight video light kit for travel. They feature a very stable fold out base, a reliable telescoping extension and a relatively sturdy rotating mount. As long as you don't tax the mount, this stand can hold lights, small cameras (GoPros, DJI Osmo Pocket, etc.) with ease. Along with the small Lume Cube lights, I have put NanLight tubes and other small LED fixtures on these stands. Folded up, they take a fraction of the room that conventional light stands take up. Highly recommend.

This is a very good product, extremely sturdy. The only learning curve is when you twist it to extend it other than that it’s great.

I needed a compact stand that I could fit in a carry on suitcase for air travel. I already pack a camera and other gear, and available real estate in my suitcase was minimal. This stand was a good solution for that, and it will hold up a Lume Cube... but barely. The stand very easily collapses/retracts and falls straight down, like a collapsable cup. It take a bit of twisting and positioning to get it to stay, but I had hoped it would just work a little easier given how small of an object it is supporting (I'm actually using it for a Aputure Amaran AL-MC RGBWW On Camera Video Light). The general quality is fine, and it packs up nicely. In the end, I'm glad to have it because of the limited space in my bag, but someone needs to come out with a bit of a stronger/higher quality version of this thing; the same size or even smaller.

It's a quality product but I have two similar stands-- the other one has a friction style mechanism. You just slide up and down. This one requires a twist and I can never tell if its locked up or down. Takes me 3-4 minutes to get the whole thing set up where the other one is done in 30 seconds. I end up leaving this guy at home most of the time.

Al principio dudaba en adquirirlo ya que se me hacía un tanto grande (lo que ayuda a que las patas sean mas largas y por tanto estable) decidí probarlo. Estoy muy contento con el artículo es de excelente calidad en aluminio (un tanto pesado) pero ayuda a darle estabilidad. Es alto. Excelente para lamparás pequeñas, movil, o cámaras ultra compactas. Cerrado es robusto y pesado nos puede servir como bastón de defensa por si nos quieren robar. Lo que les faltó es una perilla para fijar la inclinación del cabezal ya que un movil pesado hace que deslice hacia abajo.

Excellent slimline stand, less intrusive that a tripod. I used with a webcam for teaching fitness classes.

I was blown away by the quality of this product. From the button that releases the 3 legs to the twist to undo and tighten the extendable monopod, everything about this product is perfect. It's sturdy, quick to set up and pack down, compact and overall amazing quality. Out of the hundreds of products I've ordered from amazon, this is by far the best.
