This product really works great. I purchased the stainless model worried that a plastic one would be cheap. And it did not disappoint, it is very sturdy. I was able to grip the non-slip handle very easily. This tool cut through the pineapple with ease. As I pushed and twisted the tool in the pineapple, it fit comfortably in my hands. The sharp serrated blades worked well with minimal effort.

This is a great kitchen gadget for people. I have used it daily since receiving it. The shape of the handle makes inserting into the (usually hard) surface of the apple a breeze (as well as the teeth on the knife end). The grip is so comfortable and sturdy. It's easy to keep clean, including removing the core, as it pops open for easy maintenance. It's very well made. I recommend this to anyone who does a lot of work with apples (the only thing I've used it for is apples so I don't have review information for anything else.
