Disappointed - better to buy a book with fewer, clearer recipes
Bought this book with an Instant Pot for my son heading off to uni, hoping it would give him some ideas and inspiration to be able to cook easy nutritious meals. Really disappointed with it, if I'm honest. 1000 recipes means they are crammed in, six to a page, with no pictures to guide you to what you're aiming to make. There's not even a decent index. Recipes are grouped under categories: Poultry, Pork, Soups, Stews, Rice, Vegan, etc, but then apparently randomly within the category. I was looking for a dhal recipe, but there's no way to easily look it up - and nothing appears to be called a 'dhal' in the entire book as far as I can see. Shame because that's something I cook in my own Instant Pot and my son really enjoys. It's not written in the UK (eg zucchini rather that courgette) so most of the recipes I've looked at have some really specific-sounding ingredients, or ones I don't recognise or unlikely to have (chicken tenders, Swerve, shallot powder, canola oil, gumbo file...) Possible to look them up, of course, but really off-putting when you want something quick and easy, which is one of the main reasons for the Instant Pot.I'm sure there are some tasty recipes in there, but finding them is another matter entirely!

Awful cookery book
This is, without a doubt, the worst recipe book I have ever come across, bar none. The layout is poor, there is no index, the list of contents is badly organised, the print quality is cheap. Did I mention there are no photos at all? For readers in the UK and Europe, get ready to spend time working out conversions from cups/US pints/sticks of butter/pounds and ounces. Find out where you’re going to get your yellow wax beans, filé powder, pao cai, kamut, Kielbasa and collard greens. Work out what Kentucky Burgoo might look like, because this book won’t show you and you’ll never find it in the contents anyway. The only interesting food is on the front cover, and you can bet that didn’t come out of an Instant Pot, although we’ll never know because there’s no mention of what it is.Not a mention of healthy eating, apart fromSpeaking of which, there’s no publisher mentioned either, just a print credit for Amazon (poor work, Amazon). Despite this, there’s a stern warning on the inside page 1 that “this is not a medical book” and is “for informational purposes only”. Well, it certainly isn’t a medical book. There’s precious little enthusiasm for healthy eating, or in fact cooking in general.I doubt any self-respecting publisher would let this hit the bookshelves. It fails in so many ways.

Too US centric for a UK customer and no photos.
Extremely disappointed with this book. As a UK customer of an Instant Pot, this was promoted with my purchase and I dutifully purchased it. It uses entirely US measurements and calls for cuts of meat not found in the UK. Titles of the dishes are, again, US orientated and might well be delicious but not known in the UK.Leading on from my previous point, the book is not attractive and isn't enhanced by any photos at all. This along with the US descriptions etc., does not show end results at all giving even less clarity and inspiration. The closest this book comes to the UK market is by being "Printed in the UK by Amazon".I regret purchasing it.

Good for beginners
The delivery was quickly and accurate. I didn’t know anything about cooking in an instant pot before buying this book. This book is actually a masterpiece. The suggestions are super useful. The recipes are easy to follow and easy to make. And also delicious. I would like some pictures but there aren’t any. Excluding that I really loved the book. Cheap price as well! I recommend it to everyone

Watch out for US measures and ingredients.
Book ok with lots of recipes but written with an American cook in mind. Some of the ingredients are not available in the UK plus you need to remember that US measures are different. It helped when I used IP for first time as there are no recipes included with the machine and I don’t want to have to keep checking on my phone.
