Exactly what Ive been looking for
Ive spent two or three years looking for a wired headset with a detachable TRRS wire that works with xbox, and to think the cheapest out of all the headsets I bought is the one that works exactly as I needed it to. The microphone is really good because other mics dont seem to pick up my voice, the audio quality is good, but the comfort isnt that great, its not heavy, it just needs more soft padding around the ears. But hey for what $20? Its definitely worth it. (P.S. for some reason this headset wouldnt show up in Amazons search results unless I typed it in google)Edit: I came back here to buy it again and its now $60?! What the hell happened?

Got this for $13
For the $13 I paid, this can't be beat. At $60 I'd probably look elsewhere. The build quality is good, and the sound quality is decent, but it must be extremely high impedance, as the volume is significantly lower than all of my other headphones, even with the dial all the way up.

Worked for a week at most

Fusion does it again - but better!
I've always been a big fan of PowerA products, so I picked up their original Fusion wired headset a couple years ago and it has worked flawlessly - the audio quality is incredible for the price. I jumped on this new version when I saw it and am even more impressed. Audio quality is even better, extremely comfortable, and a super clear boom microphone that is easy to adjust thanks to the "gooseneck" design. Thank you PowerA!

It’s ok
I beat this thing up, if you take good care of it, it will last. The audio quality is good and the mic is ok, don’t drop it bc when I did the mic broke off

decent budget set
This headset is a good lower cost option but with just a couple of frustrating design elements.First the good: the sound quality is really good. I’m no audio expert, but I do have quite a few speakers throughout our home and enjoy good quality audio. I’m also comparing this to an old Turtle Beach headset I’d bought back in 2014 or so (that’s still going strong!) for the Xbox One. This PowerA headset is over ear and does a good job muffling outside noise. The headset has hinges to collapse the earpieces, making it a little easier to travel with (although the Turtle Beach ones turn to the inside, making them able to slip into a bag easier, whereas these are more of a small bundle to try and make room for). The mic is detachable – so these can be used as straight up over-the-ear headphones on an airplane without looking weird. The volume is adjustable via a knob on the left ear – something I discovered after using the headset a few times. Volume goes from near silent to medium-loud. The loudest setting (at least via Xbox) doesn’t seem to be hearing-damage-level loud. The volume is independent of the TV/source of audio, which is also a nice thing.Next, the frustrating: the mute button is placed awkwardly underneath the left ear. If I want to say “good job!” to a teammate really fast or “sorry for betraying you with a grenade!” this makes it very difficult to do quickly. It is not placed in an intuitive area (say directly over the left ear), and takes me a moment to find. It’s a flush button when muted, popped up when not (which makes it even trickier to find quickly). I keep myself on mute because of kids in the background etc. I also wish these Xbox controllers came with the controller adapter that they used to (like the Turtle Beach). This was before Xbox included a standard audio jack as an option, but the quick controls for volume level and mute at your fingertips was great.Overall this is a solid entry-level headset, with a few drawbacks that may or may not be worth it for you or whoever you are purchasing this for. I find that the drawbacks are not significant enough for me to not use this headset, although I’m glad I still have the Turtle Beach adapter that I can use with it and plan to do so.

They're ok
The sound is alright, not the best I've heard but for the price they'll do.For some reason they sound really low when connected to the Xbox series x but on PC they sound ok.And.
