Damaged can
Good product but 1 can of 5 was severely damaged on arrival.

Better than good - GREAT!
Excellent product. Grew up in a colder climate on vitamin C and cod liver oil. Love the texture and flavor of cod livers and the plus bonus in this pack is the cod liver oil that it is packed in. Not everybody loves this but if you like warmed cod livers on toast with a good grind of pepper on top, this is your product. As a bonus you get peppermints with each five-pack.

Minor inconsistencies
I waited for a few deliveries to write a review. Overall this product is very tasty. I give it four stars due to some inconsistencies. I wanted to do 3 stars, but so far this is the best brand I've tried so they get an extra...The inconsistencies:-Some cans taste rancid-My latest shipments are so salty I almost can't eat them-Practically every can is dinged a littleIf you're buying this particular listing for the chocolates, don't bother. You get 3, and they're very tiny. Not worth the extra cost.

Inconsistent, and the poor tins of liver were hard to distinguish as fish liver. A couple of the tins (of 5) were fine.
Some of the tins were good, others contained only little bits of miscolored and off tasting 'stuff' because not even sure it was fish liver. The good tins seemed just fine though with liver in clear oil, it was about a 50/50 mix as I purchased 5 tins. Won't be purchasing again.

Disgusting
This product can not be returned. Two of the cans were damaged and partially opened when delivered. The rancid fish oil had seeped out of the two opened cans on to the other cans and chocolate. I tried to wash off the smell from the other cans, but could not. Amazon will not except returns on this product. Believe me, I've tried.

My first cod livers and I liked it.
I've taken cod liver oil for years, but this was my first attempt at eating actual cod livers. I was shocked that I really liked it. It was better than chicken liver pate and beef liver pate. I don't eat crackers, but it would be good on crackers. I'm thinking of slicing hard-boiled eggs in half and topping them with these livers and maybe some chives. Yum! :)
