Color My Heart Happy: A Coloring Book for Grown-Up Girls from The Coloring Cafe Spiral-bound – December 21, 2015

As I've said in another review, I love these little books and have been accumulating many of them. Each book has an assortment of pages between complicated and uncomplicated designs- florals, circles, swirls, tea cups, waves, words, and so forth. The cheerful patterns and words are mood lifters; the pages can be coloured in anywhere from twenty minutes to two days. I use mostly pencils and gel pens. Neither bleed through though the pencils do smudge a little. I cut pages out to use as stationary for thank you notes or little encouraging letters to friends and they seem to enjoy getting a hand coloured thank you. But these little happy books are some of my favourite colouring matter. If she makes more, especially with Scriptures, I expect I'll just keep buying them!

The media could not be loaded.    My daughter is always coloring or drawing something. She loves these types of coloring books and this one has become one of her favorites. She loves all the different sayings in this book. A lot of the pages has a fun or encouraging thought or saying on it. The spiral bounding allows the pages to lie flat making it much easier to color without the previous pages being in the way. The pages are thicker than regular printer paper but she usually puts another piece of pager between the pages when she uses permanent markers to prevent any bleeding through to the next page. Colored pencils and gel pens also work great for coloring in this book.

Pricey but worth every penny! I have dozens of coloring books and at age 67 I am enjoying them all, but this is the first book I have ever wanted to color every single page!! My eyesight is not what it used to be and I find that the detail in this book is clear and easy to color as compared to some books that seem a bit scribbled or too tiny. I have used both fine point markers and colored pencils in this book and I am giving it five stars!

Just love the pens that make the pages so beautiful when done. Some of the pictures of the words, I may use colored pencils to save the pens with glitter, neon, fluorescent and pastel. The spiral book makes it so easy to color, and the pages are marked if wanted to remove to give as a gift or use as a card. I believe I have all of Ronnie Walter's books. The words are so lovely, see all that she has.

Ronnie Walter is one of my favorite coloring book artists. I am really enjoying her spiral bound books. They lay flat and it's easier to color in them that way. I'm not one for the detailed books that have the doodling throughout all the images. It can be overwhelming and rattle my brain. A lot of the pictures in the Coloring Cafe's books are neatly drawn and rarely have 'busy work' inside the images.

A lovely coloring book because of the exceptional art work to add one's unique coloring talents. I also enjoy that this book has a spiral to nicely hold the pages together. The size of this coloring book is also especially nice; just the right size to use without the pages getting damaged. I wish all the coloring books were put together with this method!

I so loved this coloring book. I wish it had 100 pages. Soon as I can gather the money I will order more of these. My sister has 3 hanging on her wall I colored. Love love love!!!!!!
