Asian Monkey Switch Plate Cover

This monkey switch plate is cute, and it is "3-D"/textured, like a carving instead of the flat picture that is usually used on covers. The texture makes it stand out as very "chic" and artistic, but it also stands off the wall about a centimeter, and with the depth and texture combined, it is extremely difficult to find the switch in the dark. There is enough of the switch coming through that I do not have a hard time flipping it on, but since the whole switch plate cover stands off the wall and has various levels and grooves in the carving, it can take a little time to find which bump is the light switch. One other tiny thing about this particular switch cover is that it did not fit straight on my wall. Since the border is uneven, I do not find that it looks bad, but that might bother some people. For looks, I would give this five stars, but because of poor functionality, I could only give it three.

I really like this switch plate cover and it really goes with the paint in my bedroom. It was heavy and well made and easy to install. I didn't find any problem finding the switch in the dark as I read in other reviews. I plan on changing the screws it came with to a different set that blends more with the background. The silver screws look too harsh.
