I think I`ve found bird feeder that stops squirrels feeding too!
so far so good, as I`ve invested in several different feeders and every one as been easy prey for squirrels and bigger birds! but this seems to be working. he keeps coming but can`t get in so far! the catch on the feeder isn`t the strongest so I put a small padlock on to help keep it shut and it worked, he did loosen the catch but the padlock kept it from opening completely stopping him from getting in! (its a small size that you might use on a suitcase). also the closed bottom stops them getting to the balls and catches crumbs. its a heavy and strong feeder, but I keep checking as they do bite the bars! its not that I don`t want to feed wildlife, which I love, but they are territorial! I`ve seen them chasing magpies, blackbirds, pigeons so smaller birds don`t get a chance to feed, so, so far impressed.x

DONT BUY….
If I could give 0 stars I WOULD!!! Within the first week of being outside rust marks came on it, then after two weeks it was all rusted and (this was put out at the end of March) as I slowly opened it there was a CRACK and the hindge had broken off, leaving TWO HALF GREAT!!! I then brought from Amazon “THE HEAVY DUTY FAT BALL FROM REPEAK FOR £26.99p it is a lot more money but it’s well worth it as very strong metal (NO BIG BIRDS CAN GET IN IT) and the best thing is you just have to TWIST IT and THE LID COMES STRAIGHT OFF OR ON. NO REFILLING ONE TRYING TO GET THE LID ON AND NOT THEN FOR ALL THE BIRD FOOD TO FALL ONTO THE FLOOR!!!

Birds flocking to feed
So pleased I bought this for the birds particularly in this cold weather & money not wasted as the birds are flocking to feed here. Very solid should last a long time.

Keeps squirrels away but not magpies
This is a nice, fairly procedure bird feeder. Does keep the squirrels away like it says, but unfortunately, the magpies can still get to the fat balls as their beaks are long. The distance between the outer and the fat ball holder needs to be increased.
