Insufficient instructions, thus extremely difficult to assemble
No surprise that this came as many flat pieces and a package of small connectors. I'd assembled the Ikea version years ago and it was fun. However, the directions with this lampshade were nearly useless. Even after we figured out what needed to be done, getting fingers in postition to make the connections was difficult for even for people with experience and small, strong hands. It took over an hour.
