Bleach will turn it white, heat will make it hard.
These sponges are very absorbent, and great for wiping off counters as well as soaking up any liquid messes.They do hold stains though, and I tried to remove the stain by soaking it in bleach. The sponge lost it's blue color and turned white.It still works. I also tried putting it in the washing machine and by mistake it went into the dryer as well with other towels and wash cloths.I heard the bumping and then realized it had turned hard as a rock! But after I wet it again, it was fine. My advise: don't put it in heat or micro-wave.

I'm disappointed. The sponge does NOT
I'm disappointed. The sponge does NOT, retain the soap content, as a conventional sponge.However, it DOES absorb liquid better then a normal sponge.I guess you can't have both!

Love these sponges
Love these sponges. I have a leak in the trunk of my car and the wheel well fills up. I put these sponges in and they absorb all the water.
