I bought this on August 26, 2016 and it died November 11, 2016. [...] was very good about replacing my item. So other than its untimely death, this have been a great product! Easy to use and very visible, especially in the early dark evening of Portland, Maine. I'll let you know how long the replacement lives.

This is a cool concept but it doesn't feel quite finished. I had to read the directions to get this setup because the signal wasn't paired with the remote. It was slightly confusing because the directions were obviously not originally in English and they refer to both the signal and the remote as the "controller" so it was a guess to figure out which to turn off/on for which step. The process is actually super simple, with the signal off, press and hold the left and right buttons on the remote and while pressing them turn the signal on. It turns out I have to do this every time I turn on the LED signal as it loses its pairing every time you turn it off. The LED signals themselves are pretty bright and can be easily seen during the day. If the sun was at your back however, people behind you will not see the lights. The remote works to show 4 signals plus the standby blinking line. If you press a directional button the signal will display that sign until you press the standby button on the remote. This is another point that isn't quite polished. To return to standby you have to do a slightly longer press of the button. If you just press the button quickly the remote changes color but the signal doesn't return to standby. Its basically a two second push, which isn't a big deal, but if you're riding with this on your back and don't press the button long enough the signal will still be flashing the wrong icon and you might not realize it. It also bothers me that forward is a diamond and not an up arrow, but that might just be me. I've been using this strictly in standby mode just for the flashing line to alert drivers of my presence, I don't care if they know where I'm going, but I think the best use for this is going to be skiing. I frequently find myself leading the group down the mountain and this will be an easy way to keep everyone on track. Overall I like this signal but it has a few things that could be improved. I received this signal at a discount for my unbiased review.

I like this device for many reasons. It doesn't just keep cyclists visible at night through the multi-signal panel and the reflective strips but it is also very adjustable to kids or adults. The remote control is easy to use. It comes with zip ties and a plastic base for the remote control to attach it on the bike handle. This is the perfect safety vest for cycling. The remote works fantastic and is easy to attach. The vest even has a padded pocket great for your wallet or a snack. Got rained on the other day while using it and it held up great.

This is a really cool gadget for biking. The vest is comfortable and rechargeable. There is a pocket for small items. It can also be worn directly on the back or mounted on a backpack. It keeps the drivers on the road informed about where you are heading. Really nice.

I feel better when my wife wears it when she is out on her bike as a passerby is likely to notice the vest and LED directionals, which is a great secondary safety precaution should something happen to her.The vest is lightweight, comfortable to wear and easy to use. It comes with the USB cable and batteries for the remote. The remote comes with a way to fasten it to the handle bars or attach to whatever is easiest to access, like clothing or a strap. The LED directionals are bright and rather large and easy to see from a good distance. The reflective material also stands out when it starts to get dark or a light hits the material. The straps are adjustable and I have successfully placed the vest on myself as well as my kids and wife.Once it is on, you barely even feel it. My wife likes to keep the remote on a wrist band for easy access. The mesh pocket in the back is just big enough to hold the USB cable or remote when it is not being used and is a great way to keep everything together. This vest would even be good for those with restricted movements, such as in a wheelchair or any other device that aids a person to move around.The instructions are well-written and easy to follow and include a comprehensive troubleshooting guide. Charging the vest did not take very long and it holds a charge for a fairly good amount of time. Our family has been using this vest for over 3 weeks and we have only charged it twice and that is with moderate use. We have used it while fishing, at the amusement park, bike rides, hiking and on walks.I definitely recommend getting this vest if you are a prospective buyer.
