This was the same as the original and it worked perfect and solved my problem

You have to figure it out
Seems to be well made. I am half way through installing it, as it came with no instructions. The instructions on the internet seem to indicate at least three different ways to install it, and none of them consider that I might want to be able to just make drinking water without running the water through the resin. It looks like I am just going to have to experiment with it and find what works for me. All the other components of my ATO went on straightforward and are just waiting for this piece.
