This worked well in my chili. I want a lot of flavor, so I use a lot of spice. This gave good flavor without being too hot. I have tried ancho chili powder in the past, this hit the spot.

Rarely do I write reviews however I felt the need on this product since I live in a very small town with little to no access to authentic ingredients... This chili powder is wonderful.. Beautiful flavor, color and aroma. ❤️... My only complaint (this is purely personal) is the grind was not quite as fine as I like, but was easily remedied by a quick pass through my coffee /spice chopper. I often use it to powder dried celery, oregano, parsley, cilantro and it worked equally well for this... As to the negative reviews regarding quantity I can say that these individuals obviously have never opened a bag of potatoe chips. LOL.. Item is sold by weight not volume so settling should be expected.

It has a unique flavor that is not overly spicy, hot or smoky. My family said it was just perfect. I even tried a little in seafood chowder and it added a subtle sweetness and smoke that enhanced the overall dish.

It works like described. When I first plugged it in, it didn't do anything. I guess it took a little bit to start. I ran it two cycles at 400 degrees for 15 minutes to get rid of the factory smells. So far, so good.
